BIT MCA 2019 ELIGIBILITY
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
Birla Institute of Technology Mesra commonly known as BIT Mesra, welcomes the applications for admission into 3 year MCA Programme. Master in Computer Application Programme is also offered at different off campuses at Allahabad, Jaipur, Noida and Kolkata. The admissions will be made through BIT Mesra MCA 2019 Entrance Test. BIT Mesra MCA Entrance Test is a paper-pen based.
The BIT MCA 2019 Programme will be held on June 2, 2019. Writing any exam starts with its application process and the required eligibility. If you are eligible, then you can go for your exam! BIT MCA 2019 entrance exam is conducted by BIT Mesra for getting admission into 3 year (6 semester) Master in Computer Application at its various campuses.
Given below is the BIT MCA 2019 Eligibility Criteria. Before moving to the application process, check your eligibility:
a) Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), or
b) B.Sc. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics, or
c) B.Sc. in Mathematics or statistics as one of the subjects at graduate level.
a) By June 30, 2019, candidate would have appeared for the examination in all the subjects required for getting his Bachelor's Degree.
b) Candidate must have secured essential marks or equivalent (according to item 4 or 5 above), based on most recent available evaluations/ marks.
Candidate’s admission will be confirmed when he would present the mark sheet and a certificate of having passed the Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with requisite marks according to item (4 or 5) above. Applicant should submit his proof of passing the last examinations with requisite marks by October 31, 2019. Non-satisfaction of this condition will consequently result in the cancellation of the provisional admission.
(a) The programmes that are done by the DEC-IGNOU,
(b) Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination at the time of applying, with at least 55% marks in average (50% for SC/ST/PwD) calculated according to item (4 or 5) above. They should enclose photocopies of pass certification and mark sheets of qualifying examination with their application. (Appearing applicant in distance learning programmes, whose results are yet to be announced, are not eligible to apply).
Applicants who have graduated in foreign diplomas should see the EdCIL site for equivalence (http://ww.edcil.co.in) and if required should acquire an equivalent certificate from the evaluation of the AIU (http://eee.aiuweb.org).
If any Board or University grants grades rather than the marks, the estimation of equivalent marks would be based on the method recommended by the Board or the University. If a University does not have any plan for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be based on dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100.
