BITSAT 2018 PREPARATION TIPS

Birla institute of Technology and Science Test is national level exam completely based online. BITSAT offers admission for the candidates seeking courses like B.E., B.Tech and B. Pharm. BITSAT follows the syllabus of 10+2 format. BITSAT covers up the topics: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and English Proficiency. Cracking BITSAT is not a cakewalk at all, in fact, it is a very difficult road to take. Candidates who are preparing for BITSAT goes through a mental and even physical turmoil during preparing as well writing the exam. To avoid this, they must follow these tips and tricks while preparing for BITSAT 2018.
BITSAT includes all of the major part of the 10+2 syllabus. It includes English and Logical Reasoning with Physics, Chemistry and Math. Though the questions in BITSAT consists mostly of the conceptual questions, they need to be solved real quick. Even while preparing for the exam, all the subjects should be devoted time to equally. All the sections must be answered in a quick reflex, if one hesitates and goes for a lengthy solution, it is nothing but a waste of time. So a tiring but manageable time management during the preparation and even while taking the examination. When one month remains and you’ve completed each of your subject separately, try to study all of them in one day and giving equal time to all of them. Especially core subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Do not waste time in solving unnecessary questions which are not at all related to BISAT. Make a proper schedule and give each subject a worthwhile time. When taking the exam spend only one minute per question.
There is a difference between JEE Syllabus and BITSAT Syllabus. JEE Syllabus focuses on the minute questions and covers lengthy solutions. While, BITSAT syllabus is primarily focused on the conceptual questions and doesn’t go as lengthy as JEE. In fact some topics which are covered in BITSAT does not get covered in JEE. This difference must be understood by the candidates. Unlike JEE, all the sections does not consist equal marks. Hence, the candidates attempting BITSAT can set their priorities. English and Logical Reasoning does not need any formulae or mugging up, these sections need analyzing. Candidates appearing for BITSAT 2018 can prepare for the conceptual predictable questions while preparing and answer them as a quick reflex. Prepare the scoring sections beforehand and solve those question which you are completely confident about and which requires the least time to solve them.
Ckeck BITSAT Mock Test Papers
All the sections carries different marks. Prepare the conceptual questions of all the sections but do not waste time on the sections you have no clue of. Do not go advanced on your weakest section. BITSAT has ¼ marks for every wrong question. Doubtful questions must not be answered. The starting section of the paper must be the most confident one. While preparing, realise which is your best section. Understand and notice the graphs while taking the mock tests. Improve the skills of the relatively weaker sections. Compared to the negative marks of JEE, BITSAT seems to have a larger number for the all over negative marks. So the candidates must stay careful and attempt the questions only which he/she is careful about.
After you have completed the one time preparation of all the subjects in the exam, at least one or two months must be given for the revision. Revise all the sections (yes, even English) again. When revised enough, one must start with the mock tests. Try to take online mock tests to get familiar with BITSAT 2018. Take as many as mocks possible. There are many mock tests available online for BITSAT. Record the time whenever you solve the tests and record it separately for all the sections. Solve all the sample as well as previous year’s question papers. Understand the pattern of the repeated questions in the previous year’s question papers.
BITSAT is the only exam which provides the bonus questions for the candidates. This is a set of 12 questions. These questions are no easier than the rest of the paper. These questions will be given to the candidates once he/she has completed the paper before time. The one condition is that they must submit the rest of the paper before taking these bonus questions, you cannot revert back to those answers again. However, it is a good call to go for these questions as they carry a higher positive marking.
