Manipur Board of Secondary Education (BSEM) has announced cancellation of board exams 2021 for Classes 10 and 12 due to surge in coronavirus cases. The news was announced in a media briefing on June 15 2021. BSEM, on June 28 2021 released the evaluation criteria for Class 10 and 12 students. For class 12, 30 marks are from Class 10 exams (best of 3 subjects), 20 marks from Class 11 and 50 marks from Class 12 internal exams conducted by the respective schools. Manipur Board 2021 Highlights

Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) conducts the HSC exam twice a year, usually in February and July. Exams usually get completed within 30 to 40 days from the date of commencement. Manipur Board class 12th has the advantage of being the most preferred Board in India, and it has been given more preference than other Boards since it comprises the maximum number of schools in India.

Manipur HSLC Registration 2021 Process 

Manipur Board Registartion 2021 can be done by following the steps mentioned below

Step 1: Respective schools should submit students' list in soft copy to the Board in prescribed proforma either in e-mail or CD.

Step 2: Collect the computer-generated registration form of the Board.

Step 3: Thoroughly check the form for errors. If any mistake is found, schools can correct it. Get the signatures of the students & parents/guardians.

Step 4: Submit the registration form with a registration fee of INR. 200/- per student to the Board's office.

Eligibility criteria are set by council of Manipur Board of Secondary Education which must be met by all candidates appearing for 10th and 12th board exams.  

  • All students who have completed class XI from any affiliated schools can appear for the Higher Secondary Examinations.

  • Students seeking admission in class 12 must not have a gap exceeding 3 years from the date of passing class 11 exams. 

  • Students must enroll themselves from a recognised institution under the council through the same council in which they were previously admitted. 

  • Students can enroll themselves from any one institution only. Those found to have enrolled in more than one institution shall be fined a sum of INR 10,000.

Exam Pattern 2021

Manipur Board Exam Pattern 2021

  • The exam for class XII will be conducted through offline mode. The total marks for each subject in Manipur Board HSLC examination is 80 and the pass mark is determined as 20 
  • Manipur Board follows the CCE pattern. There are four periodic tests and 2 term tests conducted in each academic year. 
  • According to Manipur Board exam Pattern, 20% of the marks secured in each of these tests are counted for internal evaluation and 80% of marks for the final evaluation.
  • The Higher Secondary Examinations also are conducted offline/written mode. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours. 
  • The question paper for each subject is set to a maximum of 100 marks. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Manipur Board Admit card is an important document without which students might be barred from sitting in the examination. Admit cards must have the signatures of the concerned school authorities and a recent photo attached. 

  • Manipur HSLC admit cards will be distributed in February 2021 for candidates of all categories. Separate admit cards will be issued supplementary exams.
  • Manipur HSC admit cards will be released in January 2021. Separate admit cards will be issued for compartment exams. 
  • School authorities must visit the official website once the admit cards are released and download the same. 
  • Students must collect the hard copy of the admit card from their respective schools on the given date and time. 
  • The admit card contains important information related to your candidature such as centre code, centre name, exam schedule with date and time, school name, candidate name, board name, exam name, roll number, father’s & mother’s name, important instructions. 
  • Candidates must verify every detail mentioned on their admit card carefully. In case of discrepancy, contact your school head immediately to resolve the error at earliest.

How To Check Manipur 2021 Board Results

The marksheet downloaded from the website is considered a provisional marksheet. Candidates are supposed to collect the original marksheet from the concerned school after 15 days from the date of announcement of results. Candidates must score at least 33% marks in each subject to pass. The pass marks have been reduced from 35% to 33% this year.

Manipur Board Improvement Exam 2021

Manipur Board Compartment will be conducted for the candidates who could not pass the exam in one or two subjects. The improvement exams are generally scheduled within a month or two from the date of declaration of result. Those students who want to appear for the Improvement exams need to apply in online mode by filling the necessary details. Candidates must note that thery will be required to submit the application form by paying the required fee as specified by the state board. Candidates who are not satisfied with the result can for the scrutiny online by paying an application fee of INR 1000.00 per subject. A list of students eligible for supplementary examination will be released by the board officials Result for HSLC supplementary examinations are likely to be released in the month of July and August respectively.
