BUMAT 2020 PATTERN & SYLLABUS
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
BUMAT is a pen paper based test that evaluates a candidate’s quantitative, verbal/reading, data interpretation and reasoning skills. The paper has 200 objective type questions that are to be completed in 150 minutes.
The syllabus is based on the fundamentals of 10+2 curriculum. As per the Marking Scheme, 1 marks are awarded for a correct answer and there is no negative marking for an incorrect answer. Theexam aims to assess an applicant’s ability to understand the subject critically and apply prior knowledge to solve the problems.

The Reading Comprehension section analyzes how effectively a candidate reads a given passage. The objective of this section is to test the ability of the candidates to express the meaning of the content in the comprehension. To attempt this section a student should make the habit of solving questions based on comprehension to increase their words read per minute speed and the speed of comprehending a passage.
