    CBSE Class 10 board results have been declared on July 15, 2020.  It can be checked on the official website- or Students have to enter their roll number, center no., school no., date of birth, and admit card ID to check their score  The result has been evaluated on the basis of the student’s performance on the basis of exams conducted in March 2020. However, for the students who appear for more than 3 exams will get marks based on their performance in an average of the best 3 subjects.

    • 91.47% of students have cleared the Board exams
    • Like class 12, In class 10 also girls have outshined the boys with a pass percentage of 93.31 as compared to 90.14% of boys.

    ​The Board has sent out the SMS to all the students of Class 10th and 12th to download DigiLocker App in order to access their Marksheet. It had also cancelled the board exams for remaining papers of Class 10th on June 25, 2020, due to COVID-19 situation. The exams for class 10th for all ‘pending subjects’ were to be conducted from July 1 to July 15. CBSE has reduced syllabus by up to 30% for class 9th to 12th for the academic year 2020-21, as announced by HRD Minister on July 7, 2020. Read More

    Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the largest governing body responsible for conducting Senior and Secondary Examinations in India as well as Abroad with more than 22,300 national and 220 international affiliations. In 2018, Board exams replaced Continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) that was earlier followed in class X by schools affiliated to CBSE. Performance in these exams enables a student to select a stream as per his/her preference. Over 17 lakh students appeared for CBSE Class X Board Examination in 2020. class X students should score 33% aggregate and 33% in theory and practical exam to pass successfully.

    Important Points:

    • Students failing in any one subject will have to write a compartment for the same.
    • Students failing in more than two subjects or failing in compartment will have to rewrite all the subjects a subsequent year.
    • Only 3 chances are given to students for clearing all subjects.

      Steps to check CBSE Class X Result 2020

      • Visit the official website of CBSE i.e.
      • Click on ‘CBSE 10th Result 2020’ to check the results.
      • Enter the details such as Roll number, admit card number, center number.
      • Click on the ‘Submit button’.
      • The CBSE Class X result will be displayed on the screen.
      • Download and save it for future reference.

      CBSE Class X Revaluation /Rechecking 2020

      The Board has announced the Re-evaluation and Rechecking schedule. CBSE has published the dates for Class X verification, obtaining an answer sheet and re-evaluation process on its official website. Candidates who are not satisfied with their results can apply for verification from July 20 to July 24, 2020. To apply for the same, candidates must know that CBSE board is accepting applications via online mode only. Candidates must note that in order to obtain the photocopy of answer sheets they need to apply for verification first. After this, the re-evaluation form will be accepted from the students who have applied for obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheets.

      CBSE Class X Improvement Exams 2020

      CBSE Class X Improvement examinations will be held for students who didn’t score as per expectation and want to improve their score. Students can fill the application form for the same in the month of October and November. The following are tentative dates for various exam activities.

      How to apply for Improvement Exams?

      Criteria to Apply For Improvement Exams

      • Improvement exam 2020 can be given by candidates who passed 2018 or 2020 CBSE Board exam
      • More than one subject can be chosen by candidates for improvement.
      • Application fee will depend on the number of subjects chosen.
      • The best performance in board exam or improvement exam will be taken into consideration while preparing final scorecard.

      Students are advised to go through the eligibility criteria as per CBSE before applying for the improvement exam. If the candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria, his/her exam form will be cancelled.

      • Candidates who have passed the previous Board Exam they had appeared for; are eligible to give this exam.
      • Candidates who are willing to change their previous marks are allowed to give the improvement exam.
      • One must have studied from CBSE Board in Class XI and XII.
      • Candidates with compartment in any subject are not eligible.
      • One can write improvement exam for the subjects they previously appeared for only.
      • Improvement exam can be given for subjects out of the five main subjects only.

      CBSE Board Class X Improvement Result

      CBSE Board will declare the result of the improvement exam in the month of August. The best score in every subject from Improvement and Board Exam will be considered while preparing final scorecard. CBSE class X (2020) Result Trends CBSE class X results were declared in May. Students can check their result at the official website of CBSE Around 17,61,078 students appeared in the exam out of which 16,04,428 students passed the exam leading to an overall pass percentage of 91.10% this year. Pass percentage for boys is 90.14%, while for girls is 92.45% .94.74% transgender students passed the examination.

      Every year CBSE conducts compartment exam for the students who failed their class X board exams in the first attempt. The eligibility criteria for compartment exams is as follows:

      • A candidate can apply for only one or two compartment exams.
      • Students placed in EIOP(Eligible for Improvement of Performance) category and have appeared for exam are eligible to give compartment exam.
      • Students falling under EIOP category can give this exam only once. No further attempts can be made.

      CBSE Exam Day Guidelines

      • It is compulsory to wear school uniforms and carry school id’s on the day of the exam.
      • CBSE class Xth Admit card, signed by parents; must be carried by every student to the exam hall.
      • All instructions on the admit card must be read thoroughly and followed on.
      • Any cheating material or mobile phones, calculators and smartwatch etc. must not be carried to the exam hall by the candidate.
      • Be seated in the examination hall latest by 10 am. No student will be allowed to enter after that.
      • Students will be provided question paper by 10:15. This 15 min. are given to students to go through every question and plan accordingly.
      • No candidate will be given extra time otherwise stated by CBSE.
      • Be vigilant while filling in the details of the answer sheet and double-check them before submitting.
      • Ensure that your answer sheet is verified and signed by the concerned examiner.
      • Practical examination will be held at theory examination centres for Private candidates (female and Patrachar Vidyalaya candidates appearing first time).
