For admission into the Engineering and Architecture colleges of Karnataka, students must clear the state level exam, COMEDK UGET. Before filling the online application form for COMEDK, candidates must check whether they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the COMEDK 2019 which will be held on May 13, 2019 across almost 290 exam centers.
This year, 181 colleges will be participating in the exam for which almost 2 lakh students are expected to appear. The COMEDK eligibility criteria will be different for B.Tech. and B.Arch. aspirants.

Ques. What is the eligibility criteria to apply for COMEDK 2019?
Ans. General category candidates with an aggregate of 45% and reserved category candidates with an aggregate of 40% in the class 12 exams with Chemistry/Physics/Maths and English as compulsory subjects. For the fifth option, students can opt for Chemistry/Biotechnology/Electronics or Computer Science. Also, candidates need to pass individually in Maths, Chemistry and Physics.
