CTET Admit Card 2018 - Download from ctet.nic.in

CBSE will issue CTET admit card in the 2nd week of September. To download the admit card of CTET 2018, candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth. CTET 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on December 09, 2018 in two sessions. Paper-II will be held in the morning session from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and Paper-I will be conducted in the evening session from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

  • Candidates must cross-check all the details mentioned on the CTET 2018 admit card before downloading the admit card.
  • Candidates must ensure that the CTET 2018 admit card is not folded/distorted.
  • It is mandatory for the candidates to carry admit cards and original photo ID proof to the exam centre.
  • Any candidate who does not provide a valid CTET admit card will not be allowed to take the entrance exam.
  • In case a candidate find any discrepancy in their admit card, then it must be immediately reported to the concerned authority.

CTET Admit Card 2018 Release Date

CBSE Board will release the admit card for CTET 2018 in the 2nd week of September, at its official website. In case you are unable to download the document or find errors in the information, contact the authoritues before September 30.

For candidates who are able to download the admit card of CTET within the stipulated time, will appear for the exam on December 09, 2018. It is important to keep the document until the counselling rounds are completed. They are expected to begin in the last week of November 2018.


How to Download CTET 2018 Admit Card?

Follow the procedure given below to download the CTET admit card:

  1. Log on to the official website of CTET 2018
  2. Select the link ‘CTET 2018 Admit Card’

  2. Download the admit card and print two copies of it.

Details on CTET Hall Ticket

Aspirants must check the details given on CTET admit card before downloading it. They must ensure that the photograph and signatures are properly visible. During the examination, the invigilator will check details given on the admit card to verify identity of the applicant. In case there are any mistakes which needs rectification, contact CBSE authority immediately.

Document Required Along with CTET Admit Card 2018

Candidates appearing for CTET 2018, should carry the following documents.

  • A photocopy of the ID proof - PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card/Voter Identity Card/Passport/Driving License
  • Photocopy of ID proof - At least two recent passport size photographs

It is the duty of a student to scrutinize all the details mentioned on CTET 2018 Admit Card. CTET Exam Center 2018

CBSE will not change the center once allotted to candidates. The list of CTET Exam Centers 2018 has been made available here on this page as per their states or city code.

What to Carry in CTET Exam Centre?

  • Ball Point Pen (BLUE/BLACK) of good quality
  • Downloaded CTET Admit Card
  • One Photo ID proof (any one of the following PAN Card/ AADHAAR Card/Passport/ Driving Licence/Voter ID card)
  • Photocopy of ID proof
  • 2 passport size photos

Note: No rough work is to be done on the answer sheet. All rough work should be done in the Test Booklet only.

What NOT to Carry in CTET Exam?

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/scanner, Cardboard etc.
  • Any communication devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health band etc.
  • Any Watch/Wristwatch, Camera, wallet, goggles, handbags etc.
  • Any other item which could be used for unfair means and for hiding communication devices like Camera, Bluetooth device etc.

CTET 2018 FAQs

Ques. How will I receive my CTET 2018 Admit Card?

Ans. You can download your admit cards from the official examination website i.e. ctet.nic.in by entering Registration number and Date of Birth.

Ques. CTET exam is about to take place and I still cannot locate my Admit Card online. What should I do?

Ans. In case, you have been waiting too long for your CTET Admit Card, contact the Assistant Secretary, CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M.

Ques. What are the details required to contact the help desk of exam conducting authorities?

Ans. You have to provide Photostat Copy of the Application Form and Demand Draft and one photograph (as pasted on the Application Form).

Ques. I have forgotten my registration ID. How can I get my admit card?

Ans. In case you have to recover your registration ID, you can do it by entering the particulars like mother’s name, father’s name and date of birth in the “Forgot Registration Number” link.

Ques. How can the mistakes be corrected in my CTET 2018 Admit Card?

Ans. You have to mail your registration ID along with incorrect details for their correction at ctet.nic.in.

Ans. Following details are required while correction of mistakes in CTET 2018 Admit Card:

Ques. Will I get any notification about the release of CTET admit card?

Ans. No, you have to stay updated with the official exam website.

Ques. Who will be responsible if in case I have not received my CTET admit card?

Ans. The Board will be accountable for all the consequences that may occur in the transit of your admit card. But, it is the sole responsibility of the candidates to contact the Board in case they have not received their admit card.

Ques. When will I receive my CTET admit card?

Ans. You can start checking the official website three weeks before the examination.

Ques. What should I do if there is no photograph printed on my CTET admit card?

Ans. Carry 2 passport size photographs along with your ID proofs at the examination center.

Ques. Which browser is the best to download CTET admit card?

Ans. You can download the admit card from the latest version of any browser, preferably Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Ques. I have lost my CTET admit card. Can I get one?

Ans. You can download it again from the official website.

Ans. Not necessarily, black and white print out can also serve the purpose.

Ques. Do I need to attest my CTET admit card from any gazetted officer?

Ans. No, it is not required.

Hi Bathula, Candidates who secure more than 60% in CTET 2018 will be issued a CTET certificate by the organizing body. This certificate will be valid for a time period of 7 years. CBSE may offer certain concessions to the reserved category participants.

Hi Shilpa, the eligibility for ctet exam is least 50% in Bachelor or Master Qualifying and You need to Appearing B Ed Course as 2 Year Duration. They must required secure at least 45% marks in higher secondary exam and should have passed the final exam of 2- year diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE regulations, 2002 for application in CTET.
