    GITAM GAT 2020 Admit Card will be released on April 05, 2020. The admit card/ hall ticket can be downloaded from the official website Candidates will have to first book their time slots online via the online booking system before issuing the admit card. The admit cards can be downloaded only within the stipulated time. The portal for downloading the admit cards will close about a week after they are made available. Only those candidates who have completed the registration process for the exam within the stipulated time will be issued the admit cards. No aspirant will be allowed to enter the exam centre without their GAT PGT 2020 Admit Card.

    The application process for GITAM GAT 2020 is set to start from the month of November 10, 2019. Interested aspirants can apply for the exam by filling the online application form and paying the requisite fees. The hall tickets will be available from April 05, 2020. The GITAM GAT exam will be held from April 11 to 21, 2020. The results will be declared on April 26, 2020. The counselling process for qualified candidates will begin in the last week of May 2020.

    Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) conducts the GAT PGT every year for admission into PG technological programs of various courses offered at Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru and Hyderabad campuses.

    How to Download GITAM GAT 2020 Admit Card?

    GITAM GAT 2020 admit cards will be available for download from April 5, 2020. It can be downloaded from the official website It is advisable that students download their hall tickets as soon as they are available to avoid last minute rush.

    Steps to download Admit Card

    The admit card/ hall ticket is an enabling document which shows your candidature and assigned roll number. The first step before accessing the admit cards is to complete the online slot booking process. Aspirants must choose an examination center, date and time slot using the GAT-2020 online booking system.

    Candidate must submit their application number, date of birth and mention their gender while logging on to the slot booking portal. The slot booking process must be completed within the stipulated time. The system will generate the slots automatically of candidates who fail to book them. Admit cards will be issued online only and no candidate will receive it via post, fax or email.

    The admit card can be downloaded by following these few easy steps:

    • Log on to the official website of GITAM GAT 2020. The URL of the official website is
    • Candidates must then go to the ‘Admissions’ section.
    • Select the ‘Downloads’ option. Select the ‘Admit Card’ option. You will be directed to the login credentials page.
    • The candidate must then enter the required details- Registration number and Date of birth. Mention your gender. Click on ‘Proceed’
    • In a new window, the admit card will appear. Download it.

    At the top left corner, there will be an option to print out the hall ticket. Print 2 copies of it in A4 size format.

    After printing out the admit card, go through the details given in it and make sure that all the information is accurate. Incase there are any mistakes that need to be rectified in the hall ticket, contact the GITAM authority immediately. The general details given in the admit card is given below:

    Highlights of Admit Card

    Aspirants must go through the following highlights of GITAM GAT 2020 Admit Card so as to avoid any confusion regarding it.

    • All aspirants must carry 2 copies of their admit card along with an identity proof to the exam center.
    • Students must go through the GAT 2020 admit card carefully and report the authority incase there are any mistakes in the written particulars.
    • The admit card issued to the candidate is subject to satisfying the eligibility criteria.
    • The aspirants must ensure that all the details printed on the admit card as also the photograph is clearly visible.
    • The hall ticket is an important document and must be preserved till the counselling process for admission is over.
    • The hall ticket is not transferable to any other candidate.

    Discrepancy in Admit Card

    If the candidate finds any discrepancy in the details given in the GITAM GAT 2020 Admit Card, then the candidate can mail at within the stipulated time.

    Documents required on Exam Day

    Candidates must carry 2 copies of their admit card/ hall ticket to the exam centre. They must also carry an original identity proof along with it. The original identity proof can be

    • PAN Card,
    • Aadhar card,
    • Passport,
    • Driving license,
    • Voter’s ID or College/School ID Card.

    No candidate will be granted entry to the exam hall without these documents.

    GITAM GAT Exam Centres

    The GITAM University conducts GITAM GAT 2020 at 48 different centres across India. Candidates will be asked to fill their preference for exam centres at the time of GITAM GAT 2020 application process. The candidates won’t be able to change their choice of GAT PGT Exam centre after allocation.

    The final list of allotted GITAM GAT Exam Centres will be announced through the official website of GITAM University. University has the authority to cancel or remove any test centre from the list at any time.

    Important Guidelines for Exam

    Candidates must follow some guidelines and instructions to ensure the smooth running of the exam process.

    • Candidates have to register their name at the registration counter in the test centre. The e-hall tickets of the candidates will be verified by the invigilator to confirm each candidate’s identity.
    • Candidates must arrive at the test centre one hour before the mentioned time. There will be an on-site orientation before the test begins. If a candidate arrives after the orientation begins, he will not be allowed to take the exam. If candidates do not report on time, they will miss some of the general instructions relating to the test. The test hall will be opened 30 minutes before the exam begins.
    • The candidate must have basic familiarity with the use of computer, keyboard and mouse operation. It is the responsibility of the aspirant to acquire these skills before appearing for the test. The university cannot take any responsibility in this matter.
    • Each candidate must ensure that they reach their respective exam centre on time. Candidate must take the allotted seat at least 15 minutes before the test begins.
    • Candidates are not allowed to carry any materials like pencil box, calculators and log tables, Clark tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, bits of paper, personal stereo systems, Bluetooth devices, pagers or mobile phones.
    • No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam room till the entire exam duration is over. Once the candidate leaves the room, he will not be permitted to re-enter the exam hall under any circumstances.
    • There are no waiting facilities for families or friends of the candidates at the exam centre.
    • All actions of the candidate in the test hall will be closely monitored by using web cams and closed circuit cameras. Any conversation or disturbance in the test hall shall be considered as misbehaviour and if any candidate is found using unfair means or impersonation, their candidature will be cancelled and they will be liable to be debarred from taking the examination as decided by the university.
