    GMAT is the Graduate Management Admission Test. It is conducted by GMAC for admission into MBA programs in around 21, 000 business schools offering around 7,100  programs. 

    Candidates can register for GMAT at any point across the year. To complete GMAT Registration, candidates have to visit the official website. They can choose a country from which they want to appear as well as schedule the test on the available dates. The whole procedure for bookingGMAT Exam is explained below.     Finding Test dates 

    First, you have to find out the test dates whether available or not For this follow the following steps:-

    • Visit GMAT official website  click on Find Test dates link
    • You will be directed to the following page:-


    Enter the asked code and click on submit button

    • Next step is to choose a test Center


    Enter your preferred country.  Let's Suppose you entered India then a list of all the test centers available in India will be shown. As per your compatibility, you can choose up to 3 test centers.

    • After choosing 3 test centers,  A calendar will appear on the screen, from where you have to choose an appropriate date.


    • Let’s suppose you chose Friday, September 16, 2016.

    Canceling GMAT Exam

    GMAC provides a provision a canceling you GMAT Exam test schedule. If candidates do so by a given deadline, the partial fee will be given of US$ 80. For canceling your test follow the following steps:-

    • Click on the official website
    • Click on cancel your GMAT exam

    Rescheduling GMAT Exam 

    Candidates can also reschedule the GMAT exam. For this, candidates have to pay rescheduling fee as follows:-

    • If you chose to date more than 7 calendar dates of the previously scheduled test date then they have to pay US$50(). For every rescheduling, you have to pay this amount
    • If you chose a date within 7 calendar days then candidates have to pay US$ 250/-

    For rescheduling the GMAT exam, Follow the below mentioned steps:-

    • Go to the official website
    • Click on Reschedule Your GMAT Exam.
    • Enter the Login Id and Password. In case you are a new user then click on create an account. Enter the details – Name, Last Name, Email Id and Password and click on create button

    Not that to reschedule your exam other than the country you have applied for, Candidates have to directly contact the authorities. The communication address is mentioned below:-

    Retake for GMAT Exam 

    For candidates who want to reattempt GMAT i.e., They are not satisfied with their performance in the exam can apply for Retake for GMAT.  Candidates can retake it one in every 16 days from the last scheduled date. However, A candidate can only have retakes in a year i.e. in a period of 12 months.

    For retaking the exam, Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:-

    • On the Right hand side click on Retake GMAT Exam link

    Registration of Test Taker with Disabilities

    Candidates falling under this category will be given the following benefits:-

    • They will be given additional time to complete the test.
    • They may get additional rest and breaks if they need to.
    • There will be a medical service in the test room in case of emergency.
    • A scribe for the candidates who cannot read the questions. For such candidates following rules and regulations are applicable:-
    • A recorder to record the responses of the candidates.
    • In case of visibility issues, Enlarged pc monitor will be provided.
    • A sign language interpreter

    Apart from aforesaid aids, Candidates will not be provided following aids:-

    • Eyeglasses and hearing aids
    • Pillow for supporting Candidate’s neck, back or injured limb
    • Collars or Neck Braces
    • Insulin if it is attached to the Candidate’s body. For this candidates need to ask for an accommodation request.

    For requesting the GMAT accommodation request, Candidates need to follow the following steps:-

    • Fill the GMAT Accommodation form
    • Complete the authorization to disclose Health Information.
    • Attach the supporting documents declaring the percentage of disability. General guidelines for each type of disability are available in pdf provided -below

    It may take up to 3 to 4 weeks time to acknowledge whether to accept the GMAT accommodation request form.  If it will get approved, then candidates will be able to schedule an accommodated testing. So, candidates are advised not to book any test before getting the confirmation for GMAT Accommodation.
