GSAT 2020 RESULT & COUNSELLING
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
GSAT 2020 result will be declared in the month of July 2020 for both the PG and UG courses like BCA, BEM, B.Sc, MCA and M.Sc. The courses are offered at all the three campuses of GITAM University. The exam will be conducted on May 9, 2020.
GSAT is referred to as GITAM science aptitude and management test. Candidates will be selected for the course based on their merit score. They must clear the minimum cut off defined in order to get their name in the GSAT merit list.

Once the result is declared counselling will be done on the basis of the merit list. The merit list will contain the name of all the candidates who have to come for counselling. Counselling will be carried out first for the UG courses and then for the PG courses. As there are limited seats in each course it is best to confirm your admission by paying the course fee once the seat allotment letter has been handed over.
GSAT 2020 result will be declared in the month of July 2020. This will be followed by counselling. At the time of counselling, the candidate must check the seat matrix for each of the courses. The seat matrix defines the number of seats available in each course. GSAT 2020 scorecard can be downloaded once the result is declared. The scorecard will give the details of the marks obtained by the candidate in every section.

GSAT result will be declared in the online mode only. There will not be any notification sent to the students regarding the uploading of the result. Once the result is declared, candidates can check the result themselves in the month of July 2020.
A simple 6 step process to check the GSAT result is as follows:
GSAT scorecard can be downloaded from the official website once the result is declared. The score will define if the candidate has been able to clear the cut-off or not. It will also specify if the sectional score of the candidate. The sectional cut off must be cleared else the student will not have his/her name published in the merit list.

There will be separate answer keys published for both the PG and UG course. There are question paper sets for each of the courses offered. So, the candidate must check the details of the set number and the subject code and then must download the answer key.
The candidate can match the answers marked by them against the answer key published by the institutes. The approximation of marks can then thus be understood. There is no release of the official answer key, so coaching institutes will release the answer keys.
GSAT merit list will be released by the GITAM University after the result is declared. It will be published in the descending order of marks. There will be a separate merit list for each of the courses. Candidate can check the name of the course and the code name as follows:

GSAT cut off is the basis for the formation of the merit list. The minimum cut off marks are the minimum marks required by the candidate in order to get their name in the merit list. The cut off marks will be different for each of the stream.
Candidates will be invited to appear for the counselling on the basis of the merit list. The GSAT merit list will be prepared separately for each of the courses.
