GSHSEB had previously released the Evaluation Criteria for calculating the 2021 results. They will be following a 50:25:25 criteria for evaluation this year. Gujarat Board Nidan Kasauti Exam 2021
Since there has been a lot of loss of students’ studies due to the pandemic, GSHSEB will be conducting the ‘Nidan Kasauti exam’ for Class 9, 10 and 12 from July 10 to July 12, 2021. The exam will help GSHSEB to assess the learning loss that happened due to the pandemic. For class 11th currently the admission tests are going on and hence the exam will not be held for these students. Since the test is diagnostic in nature, students can take it with a healthy mindset. GSEB HSC Results 2021
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the GSEB HSC Result 2021 on July 17 2021 for the science stream. The Class 10 exams have been cancelled and students will be granted a mass promotion. GSEB Class 12 exams have also been cancelled and the board will take into account the results of Classes 10, 11 and 12 in the ratio of 50: 25: 25 respectively . The students will be able to check their results through their respective schools. The schools can download the result by the school index number. There are 1.40 lakh students of science stream and 5.43 lakh students of the general stream waiting for the GSEB HSC results 2021.

All the results are available on the official website of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. Candidates can check and download their results from their schools. Candidates are suggested to download the scorecard/marksheet from their schools as it can be used as a provisional mark sheet. Schools can check the results by following the steps mentioned below:

GSEB HSC Result Statistics 2021
In 2021. 100% students of the science stream have been declared passed. 3245 students have recieved A1 grade whereas 15,284 students have recieved grade A2 grade. As per an Indian Express report, “As many as 466 students have secured more than 99 per cent marks in group A while 657 students secured more than 99 per cent marks in group B in all theory subjects. While 868 students scored more than 98 per cent in group A and 1,303 students secured 98 per cent in group B in all theory subjects.”

GSEB HSC Toppers 2021
In 2021, no topper list is being released since the exams were cancelled. As per reports, 1.4 lakh students appeared in the Gujarat Board 12th exam 2021 for HSC Science stream. While, for HSC Arts and Commerece streams, 4 lakh students appeared in the Gujarat Board 12th exam 2021. In 2020, Neha Yadav, who topped Gujarat board 12th result 2020, from Rashtra Bharti Hindi Shala had secured 98.86%.
GSEB Previous Years Result Analysis
Minimum marks required to pass the senior secondary examination is 33%. Marks in each subject and aggregate marks both shall be minimum 33%. The least marks for passing the examination is indicated as Grade-D. If someone gets a lower grade of E1 or E2, then he/she has to reappear for the exams. For differently-abled candidates the minimum qualifying marks in 20%.

What after GSEB HSC results?
Once the results are declared, the students can take a print out of the results page for a copy. However, this is not an original copy of the mark sheet. The e-scorecard printed form the website shall be attested by school authorities or any class 1 gazetted officer. The scorecard can be used for further admissions. The candidates will get the original mark sheet from the concerned schools after 2-3 weeks from the date of result declaration.
Gujarat Board Application Form 2021
The application form for Gujarat Board was released in the month of November. Candidates are suggested to apply for GSEB Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations through their schools. The registration form should be filled and submitted online on the official website of Gujarat Board. The candidates are supposed to fill the registration and application form as prescribed by the school authorities. The candidates who are appearing privately should also register through an institute recognized by the GSEB. For supplementary examination the candidates are suggested to fill the online application form. The last date to apply for Gujarat Board supplementary examination is June 30, 2020. The steps to fill and submit the online application form are mentioned below:
- Visit the official website of GSEB
- Select the option among 12th registration and then select the stream for which you want to apply.
- If you want to apply for the general stream, then click on 'General Students' link, then select 'Login'.
- Enter all the details like School Index and Password and click on Login.
- On completion of the registration process, the process needs to be verified and approved by the Principal of the concerned school.
- An online challan for payment of exam fees will be generated
- Requirements for registration: Candidate's name, Date of birth (DOB), Father's name, Mother's name, Place of birth, Gender, Educational details, Email, Test centre preference, Caste, Reservation category, Signature, and candidate's photograph.
GSEB Class 12 Exam Pattern 2021
GSEB has released the exam pattern for Class 12 board Exams. The duration of each exam is 3 hours. Students can score a maximum of 100 marks in their GSEB HSC exams. Students appearing for GSEB Class 12 exams are recommended to go through the exam pattern along with the Gujarat Board Class 12 Syllabus. The syllabus presents all the important topics that students need to cover for their exam preparations while the GSEB Class 12 Exam Pattern provides an insight into the type of questions asked along with the marking scheme.
Exam Pattern for Higher Secondary Examination(Class 12): This exam will also be conducted offline as pen and paper based exam. The questions shall be descriptive in nature. However, in some subjects there will be multiple choice questions of one mark. Nio negative marking criteria will apply for this exam. The maximum marks in a subject will be 100 and minimum passing marks is 33% for both sectional and aggregate. GSEB Class 12 Syllabus 2021
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has released the GSEB HSC Class 12 Syllabus for students on its official website. The syllabus has been reduced by 30%and changes have been made in the Exam Pattern. As per the revised exam format, OMR answers consist of 50% of the marks, and descriptive questions will comprise of the remaining 50%. Gujarat Board Eligibility

Gujarat Board Class 10 and 12 Admit Card 2021
GSEB Admit Card for both senior and higher secondary examinations will be available in the month of February. Candidates are required to collect the admit card from the concerned schools. Admit cards will contain the name and roll number of the candidate and the schedule of the board examination. The details of seat number and the details of examination center will also be mentioned in the admit card.
Gujarat Board 2021 Purak Pariksha Admit Card
The admit cards for supplementary examination or the Purak Pariksha 2021 will be available in the first week of July. The tentative date of commencement of examination is July, 2021. The admit card will be available in the concerned school for the candidates who have successfully registered for the supplementary examination. Admit cards are necessary to appear in this examination and no candidates shall be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
Gujarat Board Purak Pariksha 2021
If any candidate did not pass in the board examination and failed in one or more subjects then they can apply for the retest. The supplementary exam or the ‘Purak Pariksha’ is to be held from July 15, 2021. Details regarding the examination have been updated on the official website of Gujarat Board. Students who are repeaters and private candidates will be appearing for this exam. While there was a petition filed to cancel this exam, the Gujarat High Court has dismissed this plea and the Repeater Exams will be held as per schedule. The exam will be conducted in as many as 2,916 school buildings.
Suggestions for the Candidates
- Read the previous year question papers which will let you prepare well for the examination.
- All candidates need to reach the exam centre at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
- No electronic items are allowed into the examination hall, such as mobile phones, electronic calculators, etc.
- Try to keep calm and do not panic during the examination.
