IAS Exam Results, Answer Keys and Cutoff: Check

UPSC will declare IAS  Prelims Results in the month of July 2019 on its official website. The marks, cut off marks and answer keys of screening test held through Prelims will be uploaded only after the entire process of Mains Exam concludes i.e. after the declaration of final result of Civil Services Examination.   • The results of Civil Services Prelims will release in the month of July, 2019.
  • Prelims qualifiers have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form (CSM) for Mains Exam, available at Check IAS Selection Process
  • The IAS Admit Card and the schedule of examination will be uploaded on the Commission’s website around 3 weeks before the exam. 
  • UPSC provides reservation in vacancies to students from SC, ST and OBC category which ranges from 16% to 25% of the total vacancies. Check IAS Reservation Criteria

  • Union Public Service Commission releases IAS answer key within the time period of one month after the completion of exam.
  • A Candidate who has appeared in IAS exam can download Answer Key from the official website of UPSC.
  • UPSC Civil Services Answer Key is available for all sets of question booklet given in the UPSC Entrance Exam. It will be helpful in predicting the marks.

Stages of Declaration of IAS Exam Results

IAS Exam Result is declared in 3 stages as given below:

These stages are explained in detail below:

  1. IAS Exam Results (Prelims) is declared in the month of August. IAS Prelims is the first stage of IAS Selection Process. Only the candidate who qualifies this stage is allowed to sit for the Mains exam.
  2. IAS Exam Results (Mains) is the stage after Prelims. On the basis of the marks obtained by a candidate in IAS Mains, he will further be called for Personality Test or Interview. IAS Exam Results for Mains is expected to be released in the month of January. 
  3. IAS Exam Results (Final) is expected to be out in May, 2019. IAS Final Result is declared on basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in Mains Exam and Personality Test or Interview. Candidate who secures the highest marks out of the aggregate marks will come out as toppers. IAS 2019 interview is scheduled from February 11, 2019 to March 29, 2019.

How to Access IAS Exam Marksheet?

UPSC releases the Mark sheet of Exam for both preliminary and mains exam. Mark sheets are released after the declaration of IAS Exam Results for all the candidates who appeared. Candidates willing to check their marksheet can log-in using their roll number and date of birth. They must take its print for further use.

Unable to access IAS Exam Mark-Sheet

In case a candidate faces any problem while accessing IAS Exam Result or mark sheet, he can directly contact the Facilitation Counter of Service Commission. It is near the Examination Hall Building in its Campus at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. Candidates may obtain any information/clarification regarding their result of the above-mentioned examination on all working days between 10 am to 5 pm.
