IBPS on Friday have published the Score card of preliminary exam (CRP SPL-VII) to recruit approximately 1,315 Specialist Officers (SO) in various public sector banks and other participating organisations. Candidates can check the score card till January 28, 2019.

Candidates will qualify for the next stage only after successfully clearing the previous one. IBPS SO Prelims Result will be announced in the month of January 2019. Candidates are provisionally selected for different posts through IBPS SO on the basis of their combined score in Mains exam and Interview.

IBPS SO 2019 is national level entrance test for recruiting Specialist Officers in various public sector banks and banking organizations. All the specialist officers are appointed to different posts through IBPS SO on the basis of merit cum performance.

How to Check IBPS SO 2019 Results?

All notifications pertaining to the release of IBPS SO 2019 Result will be announced on the official website, In order to check the Results of the subsequent Preliminary, Main or Interview rounds, candidates need to follow below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official site
  • Click on "IBPS SO Specialist Officers - Preliminary Exam results"
  • Log in using credentials such as Application Number, Date of Birth etc. as required.
  • Download and obtain a print out of the Document for future reference.

Details on IBPS SO 2019 Scorecard

IBPS SO Results 2019 Scorecard will contain the section & overall score along with their qualifying status of all the candidates.

  • Marks obtained in individual sections
  • Maximum Aggregate Marks
  • Cutoff Score for Provisioanal shortlisting
  • Name of candidate
  • Category
  • Roll Number
  • Registration Number
  • Post Applied for 

IBPS also issues Call Letters to successful candidates after each round to progress to the next round. The information conveyed in each Call Letter is:

  • Post applied for
  • Venue for the subsequent round along with address details,
  • Scheduled date and time for the subsequent round.

IBPS SO under no circumstances will send hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. by post/ courier to candidates. Intimations will be sent by email and/SMS to the registered email ID and mobile number (registered in the online application form for CRP SPL-VII).

Note: IBPS/ Participating Organizations does not assume responsibility for late receipt/non-receipt of any communication e-mailed/ sent via SMS to the candidate due to change in the mobile number, email address, technical fault or reasons otherwise beyond the control of IBPS/ Participating Organizations. 

IBPS SO 2019 Normalization of Scores

IBPS will use the equi-percentile method to obtain the corrected scores secured by the candidates in prelims and mains exam through normalization for calculating IBPS SO Result 2019. Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations. These score will be considered to shortlist candidates for next round (mains and interview).

IBPS SO 2019 Cut Off Score

IBPS decides the cut-off scores for all the stages of IBPS SO 2019 recruitment drive to select eligible candidates. The institute finalizes the cut-off score on the basis of:

  • level of difficulty of the exam
  • number of candidates appeared for the exam
  • total number of posts, etc.

The category wise maximum and minimum cut-off score (combined scores in the main exam and interview out of 100, in the ratio of 80:20) will be fixed for provisional allotment and reserve list. 

IBPS SO 2019 Merit List

Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in the Online Main examination and also secure fairly high score to be considered for shortlisting after the final interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and a merit list of shortlisted candidates for the interview will be prepared.

Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online Main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

IBPS SO 2019 Interview

Candidates are shortlisted for Interview on the basis of the marks obtained in the IBPS SO Mains exam. The Interview will be conducted by the Participating Organisations at selected centers. Details of the center, address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be indicated on the call letter.

The maximum score for the Interview round is 100. Candidates need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks as indicated below to qualify the Interview.

IBPS SO 2019 Provisional Allotment

Post IBPS SO interview Round, candidates will be selected by one of the Participating Organisations, based on merit-cum-preference and also, subject to satisfying other eligibility criteria as specified by the exam conducting authority. Once the provisional allotment is made, no request for change will be entertained.

IBPS SO is an All India Level Cadre Examination and candidates selected through the exam are subject to posting anywhere in the country as per discretion of the participating organizations. Any request for change may result in cancellation of candidature.
