    JEE Advanced Cutoff 2020, Qualifying Marks and Previous Years' Cutoff

    JEE Advanced Cut off 2020: JEE Advanced 2020 will be conducted in two shifts on May 17, 2020. JEE Advanced Result has been released on June 14, 2019. The official cut off for this session will be released shortly.

    • Along with cut off, merit list of qualified candidates is also released. Check JEE Advanced 2020 Marks Vs Rank list 
    • JEE Advanced Cut off will be released in the form of Opening and Closing Ranks for every participating institute.
    • Candidates must secure a rank above the cut off to secure a seat.
    • The seat allotment will be solely based on category wise All India Ranks (AIR) in JEE Advanced 2020.
    • Based on this, rank lists will be prepared for each of the participating institutes individually. The minimum prescribed marks are also declared category-wise. Read About JEE Advanced Counselling

    Factors Affecting JEE Advanced Cutoff

    The cut off of JEE Advanced is set after considering the following factors:

    • Number of students participated in the exam
    • The complexity level of the exam
    • Seat Matrix of colleges 
    • Previous years’ cutoff trend 
    • Candidates’ performance in JEE Advanced

    Minimum Percentage Required to Qualify JEE Advanced

    A Common Rank List (CRL) is announced which represents the total marks (Paper 1 + Paper 2) obtained by a candidate in JEE Advanced. The rank list also includes the aggregate marks and minimum percentage of marks in each subject of JEE Advanced Papers.

    The following table represents the minimum percentage of marks in each subject and the minimum percentage of aggregate marks to qualify JEE Advanced 2018:
