JEE Advanced 2019 Result (Declared), Scorecard, Rank and Cutoff

JEE Advanced 2019 Result has been declared on June 14, 2019 at jeeadv.ac.in by IIT Roorkee. Candidates have to enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth to view their JEE Advanced Rank and Score.

Out of 161319 students who appeared in JEE Advanced 2019, 38705 students including 5356 females qualified the exam. Scoring 346 marks out of 372, Gupta Kartikey Chandresh from Maharashtra has topped IIT JEE Advanced 2019. Also, he had secured an All India Rank 17 with 100 Percentile in JEE Main 2019. Shabnam Sahay is topper among female candidates obtaining AIR 10 with 308 marks. Download Official PDF

How to Check JEE Advanced 2019 Results?

Candidates need to follow the below procedure in order to check JEE Advanced Result 2019:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Advanced to check the rank. The results has been declared at jeeadv.ac.in.
  • Log into the account using the Registration Number, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address. 
  • Download the result and keep it for further use.

Following are the particulars indicated JEE Advanced 2019 Result:

  • JEE Advanced 2019 Registration Number
  • JEE Advanced 2019 Roll Number
  • Name and Date of Birth of the Candidate
  • Common Rank List (CRL) Rank/Status of Qualifying
  • Score in all 3 sections
  • Total score in JEE Advanced 2019

JEE Advanced Score Calculation

Only candidates who have appeared for both the papers of JEE Advanced, will be considered for Common Rank List (CRL). Marks obtained in Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be taken while the rank is calculated by the concerned authorities. The example is mentioned below:

Marks obtained in Physics = Marks obtained in Paper 1 (Physics) + Marks obtained in Paper 2 (Physics)

Similar method will be used for calculating total marks for Mathematics and Chemistry. The aggregate marks for JEE Advanced 2019 will be calculated using the following formula:

Aggregate Marks/Scores obtained in JEE Advanced = Aggregate marks in (Physics + Mathematics + Chemistry)

The rank list of JEE Advanced 2019 will be prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. Only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each subject and in aggregate will be included in the rank list.

JEE Advanced Answer Key

JEE Advanced final answer keys have been released along with result declaration on June 14, 2019. The provisional answer keys were available on the online portal since June 4, 2019 at jeeadv.ac.in. IIT Roorkee also allowed candidates to send feedback on answer keys through the portal. With the announcement of JEE Advanced result, the final frozen answer keys and minimum marks for inclusion in the rank list have also been published at the official portal.

JEE Advanced 2019 Cut-off

JEE Advanced cut off is the score of the candidate with the lowest rank who will be accepted by IITs for admission. IITs also prefer Minimum Qualifying Marks for Ranking (MQMR) which is the minimum scores for JEE Advanced, required to be eligible for including in JEE Advanced Common Rank List.

The cut off marks for PwD candidates will be the same as the lowest of the cut off marks for GEN, OBC-NCL, SC and ST categories.

JEE Advanced 2019 Counselling

JoSSA will be carrying out the counselling procedure for selection of candidates into the IITs and other affiliated institutes. The candidates will be allotted the college and branch as per their choice but in accordance with their AIR.

For that the candidates will have to wait for the declaration of the AIR and the counselling procedure will commence in the third week of June 2019. JEE Advanced Counselling is centrally managed computerized process and candidates need to report directly to allotted colleges. 

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced Counselling

  • Candidates should note that the counselling will be conducted for only those candidates whose rank is under the ambit of the rank released by various colleges.
  • They are required to have obtained at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12th or equivalent board exam. For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories, the aggregate marks required for admission is 65%.
  • For admission in IITs, the candidates must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective class 12th or equivalent board exam.

JEE Advanced AAT 2019

Post declaration of JEE Advanced Result, desired candidates must register for Architecture Aptitude Test 2019 at jeeadv.ac.in. Only candidates who have qualified in JEE Advanced can register for AAT.

  • The Registration for AAT 2019 begins from June 14, 2019
  • Architecture Aptitude Test will be conducted on June 17, 2019.
  • AAT Results will be declared on June 21, 2019 (tentatively).
  • There is no separate ranking and cut off in AAT.
  • The allotment of seats will be carried out on category-wise All India Ranks in JEE Advanced 2019.
