JEE ADVANCED 2018 RESULT & COUNSELLING
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
JEE Advanced 2018 Result has been declared on June 10 (10:00 IST) at jeeadv.ac.in. by IIT Kanpur. Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates is available through the online portal. The result is announced in the form of individual rank cards. Candidates can simply enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth to view their JEE Advanced rank and marks. Candidates who appeared in both the papers shall only be considered for Common Rank List (CRL).

Total 155158 students appeared in JEE Advanced 2018 and only 18138 students have qualified the exam. The total number of seats offered by IITs is 11279.

JEE Advanced Result 2018 will be declared online. After the declaration of JEE Advanced Result 2018, the process for AAT 2018 will begin. Refer to the below table to learn about all important JEE Advanced Result Dates:

Candidates can check their result after the notification is displayed on the official site. Following are the procedures which the candidates need to check the JEE Advanced Result 2018:
JEE Advanced 2018 Result has been declared by the board on June 10. Candidates will have to submit their application for counselling. Following are the particulars indicated JEE Advanced 2018 Result:
Only candidates who have appeared for both the papers of JEE Advanced, will be considered for Common Rank List (CRL). Marks obtained in Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be taken while the rank is calculated by the concerned authorities. The example is mentioned below:
Marks obtained in Physics = Marks obtained in Paper 1 (Physics) + Marks obtained in Paper 2 (Physics)
Similar method will be used for calculating total marks for Mathematics and Chemistry. The aggregate marks for JEE Advanced 2018 will be calculated using the following formula:
Aggregate Marks/Scores obtained in JEE Advanced = Aggregate marks in (Physics + Mathematics + Chemistry)
The rank list of JEE Advanced 2018 will be prepared based on the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination. Only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each subject and in aggregate will be included in the rank list.
The responses of the candidates who have appeared for both papers will be electronically mailed to their registered email ids. The answer keys will be displayed on the online portal by May 29, 2018 at jeeadv.ac.in. IIT Kanpur will also allow candidates to send feedback on answer keys through the portal. With the announcement of JEE Advanced result, the final frozen answer keys and minimum marks for inclusion in the rank list have also been published at the official portal.
JEE Advanced cut off is the score of the candidate with lowest rank who will be accepted by IITs for the admission. IITs also prefer Minimum Qualifying Marks for Ranking (MQMR) which is the minimum scores for JEE Advanced, required to be eligible for including in JEE Advanced Common Rank List.
The cut off marks for PwD candidates will be the same as the lowest of the cut off marks for GEN, OBC-NCL, SC and ST categories.

Joint Admission Board (JAB) led by the organising IIT will be carrying out the counselling procedure for selection of candidates into the IITs and other affiliated institutes. The candidates will be allotted the college and branch as per their choice but in accordance with their AIR.
For that the candidates will have to wait for the declaration of the AIR and the counselling procedure will commence in the first week of July 2018. JEE Advanced Counselling is centrally managed computerized process and candidates need to report directly to allotted colleges.
Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced counselling and seat allotment
Post declaration of JEE Advanced Result, desired candidates must register for Architecture Aptitude Test 2018 at jeeadv.ac.in. Only candidates who have qualified in JEE Advanced can register for AAT.
