NTA released the sample questions for numeric value answer based questions in mathematics. Paper 1 will involve various questions both in the form of MCQs and numerical questions while Paper 2 is now segregated amongst B.Arch and B.Plan aspirants. With regards to B.E/B.Tech paper, there will be 75 questions in totality when contrasted with the previous count of 90. Revise your notes: Covering the syllabus is not the key for success in JEE Main, what actually matters is how much you retain for the exam. Therefore, revise your notes every day for a strong grasp of concepts and application. Revise your formulas as most of the questions will be formula based. It’s not practical to revise and retain all the important formulas at once so please revise some portion of it daily during your last days before the exam.
Important topics: Observing the last year's JEE Main question paper, it was noted that the paper was quite balanced and spread out, covering most of the paper so keep a balanced preparation. However, there are topics from which questions are surely asked.
