NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
NTA has announced that JEE Main 2020 April session will be conducted from July 18 to 23, 2020. JEE Main B.E/ B.Tech Question Paper will have a total of 75 questions, B. Arch Questions Paper will have a total of 77 and B. Planning question paper will consist of 100 questions. Since the exam will be conducted in multiple shifts the question papers in all the shifts will be different.
The total time duration to complete the paper will be 3 hours.

JEE Main B. Arch Paper candidates have to solve the Maths and Aptitude section in an Online Mode whereas the Drawing Section in Pen paper mode. B. Arch Paper holds 2 questions based on drawings. These two questions are to be attempted on a separate Drawing Sheet which will be provided with the question booklet. The 2 questions asked in B.Arch drawing paper are:
2-Dimensional Drawing: Here candidates have to draw a freehand image without using the ruler/compass
3-Dimensional Drawing: Here candidates have to draw a 3D image using given shapes and forms in the question.
JEE Main B.Arch Question Paper could consist of following types of questions:
Drawing of landscapes such as Trees, Riverfront, Rural Life, Jungle etc.
Public space, Festival, Market, Street Scenes, Monuments, Recreational Spaces

Creating 2D and 3D images by using shapes mentioned in the question paper.
Sample Question from Drawing (20 Marks): In the space provided in the answer sheet for the answer of this question, draw the margin line to form a frame. In this frame create an aesthetic composition using only cubes. These can be any size, and may be placed separately, overlapping or within each other. The idea is to produce an aesthetic and visually exciting composition of these in a shape without making it represent any relaistics form like house face etc. These shapes and other spaces should be filled with some colors of your choice so that the visual quality of the composition is enhanced.

Question: Will the questions asked in JEE Main B.Arch & B.Planning maths section similar to JEE Main B.Tech maths section?
Ans. Yes. The type of questions asked in the maths sections for all the papers will be of the same difficulty level. In JEE Main B.Arch & B.Planning paper candidates will have to attempt maths and aptitude along with drawing and planning based paper respectively. However, in JEE Main B.Tech paper candidates will have to attempt Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics questions.
Question: When can I get the copy of that question paper for which I will appear in JEE Main 2020?
Ans. You will get the copy of your question paper with the release of the response key. Soon after the release of response key candidates need to visit the official website of NTA. There you have to use the valid registration number and password to download the question paper and response key.
