    Law School Admission Test (LSAT), is a national level entrance test that is conducted every year by Law School Admission Council (LSAC) to offer admissions to UG and PG integrated law courses.

    This is a standardized test that is conducted accordingly in several centers throughout the world. In the year 2021, the LSAT test will be held in the 3rd week of May. This entrance test is designed to test and analyze the skills required in the law institution.

    The entrance test is designed to test a candidate’s verbal and reasoning skills. LSAT score is considered by more than 85 colleges in India for admission into their law programs. Candidates who are planning to appear for the examination in 2021 can refer to this article wherein all crucial information has been provided.

    LSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

    Before applying for the LSAT 2021, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria and if they match the requirements, only then they can proceed with application.

    • The candidates who are willing to pursue BA-LLB courses then they must acquire a minimum of 45% marks in their 12th before applying for the LSAT 2021
    • The candidates who are willing to pursue LLB course they must score at least a minimum of 45% marks in their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University
    • The candidates after the completion of their 3 or 4 years LLB program must at least acquire a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University if they are willing to pursue LLM program
    • There is no upper age limit for the candidates applying for the LSAT 2021

    LSAT 2021 Application Process

    The application form for the LSAT 2021 will be available in the online mode from the first week of December 2020. Candidates are advised to complete their online registration process before the first week of May 2021

    • The application form filled after the deadline date will not be accepted
    • The details in the application form must be filled correctly by the candidate before the final submission
    • The candidates will be initially provided with a User ID and also password which is will be in the entire process of registration for login purpose
    • The candidate requires to pay a total of INR 3,800 for the application fees which is same for all the other categories
    • The payment for the application fees can be done with different payment gateways like the UPI, Net Banking, Credit card or Debit card.

    LSAT 2021 Admit Card

    The candidates can download the LSAT 2021 admit card by the last week of April 2021 from the official website itself.

    The candidates can use their User ID and password for the login purpose. Then they can just download the admit card. This document is the most important document that the candidates are advised to carry with them in the examination center.

    Also, certain important instructions are provided on the admit card, the candidates are also advised to go through the instructions so that they do not miss out on anything.

    LSAT 2021 Exam Pattern

    The exam pattern is really necessary for the preparation of LSAT 2021 by the candidates. It provides them a clear idea about the marking system.

    • The candidates must know that LSAT 2021 is an offline based entrance test.
    • The mode of language in the paper will be in English only.
    • The LSAT 2021 entrance test is divided into 5 different sections which are Reading Comprehension, Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning-1, Logical Reasoning- 2 with a new additional section known as variables.
    • The candidates will be provided with 35 minutes for all the 5 different sections in the paper. So overall they will have in hand 2 hours and 55 minutes for completing the paper.
    • The LSAT 2021 will be asking questions to the candidates in the format of multiple-choice questions (MCQ’S).
    • The candidates will be provided with a total of 115 questions in the complete question paper.
    • The candidates will be allotted with +1 marks for every correct answer
    • LSAT 2021 has no negative marking scheme.

    LSAT 2021 Syllabus

    • Analytical reasoning: Comparison, logical deductions, intersection type, selection, coding and decoding, arrangement, family-based problems, direction type questions, etc.

    • Logical reasoning: Cubes, Logical connectives, clock, calendar, binary logic, logical matching, Venn diagram, syllogism, blood relations, seating arrangements, etc.

    • Reading comprehension: In this section, there will be topics based on reading comprehension including - sociology, technology, law, economics, business, psychology, philosophy, etc.

    LSAT 2021 Exam Centers

    The LSAT exam is conducted in around 20 different cities in India. There are almost around 22 to 23 examination centers for the candidates all over India.

    Though the LSAT entrance test is a pen and paper-based entrance test. You can prepare for the test by improving your ability and performance. These tests are known as the mock test. These test papers can be achieved online or offline for the preparation of the LSAT 2021.

    LSAT 2021 Results

    The result for the LSAT 2021 will be announced by the 4th week of May 2021. The candidate can check the result in the online mode itself.

    The candidates are required to score the minimum cut off marks to qualify the exam and come on the merit list.

    LSAT 2021 Counselling Process

    The LSAT 2021 counseling will be declared soon. The counseling will start after the announcement of the result and also the merit list.

    In the counseling process, the candidate is required to select the course/college/institution in whichever they are thinking of leading their career ahead.

    Ans. Yes, the Law School of Admission Council (LSAC), have added a new section known as a variable. This section includes 23 unscored questions.
