MAH B.Ed CET Result & Counselling 2018

MAH B.Ed CET Result is declared by DTE Maharashtra on the official website. Candidates can check the result by providing their Roll Number and Password. The result will be issued to only that candidates who have appeared in the examination. MAH B.Ed CET Result is expected to be declared on June 31, 2018 by 5.00 PM. After the declaration of result, the qualified candidates will be called for counselling process. It will start within a week of the result.

DTE Maharashtra conducted MAH B.Ed CET for the admission to two year program in the various colleges of Maharashtra. The last date for submission of application form is April 26, 2018. How to Check MAH B.Ed CET Result?

Candidates eagerly waiting for MAH B.Ed CET Result can check their result on the official website. They can go through the following these steps given below.

  • Visit the official website of MAH B.Ed i.e. www.dhepune.gov.in
  • Go to the News and Orders and click on the result link.
  • Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth and click on the submit button.
  • The result page will be displayed on the screen. Take a print out of the page for its future reference.

The exam conducting body will release cut off marks for each college. Candidates have to score more than cut off marks to be eligible for admission process.

MAH B.Ed CET 2018 Merit List

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their rank in MAH B.Ed CET for admissions to their desired institute. The merit list provides the All India, State, University and J&K ranks of the candidates. It is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the examination. MAH B.Ed merit list will be declared in two stages.

  • Provisional Merit List- It is generally declared immediately after the end of MAH B.Ed CET 2018 Counselling i.e. commencement of June.
  • Final Merit List- The final merit list is declared after considering the results of the MAH B.Ed CET Counselling correctly by the end of June. It depicts the list of candidates finally shortlisted for admissions to the applied college.

Tie Breaker in MAH B.Ed CET

Tie Breaker is considered for the generation of the merit list in case two or more candidates score equal marks and percentile. The merit list is generated by calculation of percentile among the candidates aspiring for the Maharashtra State Seats and for the All India Seats and J&K Migrant Seats. The following order of preference is considered while preparation of merit list during a tie-breaker:

The following order of preference is considered for calculation of the relative merit in case of an equal score and equal percentile by the candidate in MAH B.Ed CET 2018:

In the case of an equal score and equal percentile of the candidate in MAH B.Ed CET 2018, the following sequence of preference is considered for determining the merit list for the candidates:

  • Candidates with higher percentage of aggregate marks scored in the higher secondary (Std. XII) or any equivalent examination will get preference, if the tie exists then
  • Candidates with higher percentage of the marks scored in the aggregate at the Senior Secondary (Std. X) or its equivalent examination shall be preferred; if the tie still persists then
  • Birth date of the candidate i.e. candidates who are older in age will be considered.

MAH B.Ed CET 2018 Counselling Process

DTE Maharashtra will conduct MAH B.Ed counselling through CAP (Centralized Admission Process). It will be conducted in three rounds and the next round will be conducted if the seats remained vacant after the first round of counselling. The qualified candidates in the entrance test can participate in counselling process. It will commence in first week of June 2018. The process includes verification of documents, updating and confirmation of application form for admission at the reporting center. Candidates have to produce original documents during the documents verification rounds.

Candidates who have appeared for MAH B.Ed CET can also apply for the counselling process. They have to do login using their registration credentials and can participate in Centralized Admission Process. Candidates are required to fill their choices of colleges and also have to lock their choices. They also have to pay the counselling fee through online mode during registration for CAP.

The admissions to the following institutes will be based on the score of CET, provided they are approved and recognized by Government of Maharashtra and are affiliated to any of the Non-agricultural University in the State of Maharashtra State:

  • All Government Colleges offering B.Ed. Course
  • All Government Aided Colleges, Aided Minority Colleges offering B.Ed. Course
  • All University Managed Colleges/ Institutes offering B.Ed. Course
  • All Un-Aided Institutes/Unaided Minority Institutes offering B.Ed. Course.

Candidates are required to produce the following documents during counselling process as mentioned below.

  • Photo Identification Proof such as Aadhar Card, PAN card, Driving License etc.
  • Copy of the application form
  • MAH B.Ed CET 2018 Admit Card
  • Recent Colored Photograph
  • Mark Sheet and Certificates of Class 10th and 12th for verification of Date of Birth
  • Mark Sheet of the qualifying Examination
  • Provisional Letter and Character Certificate from the institution last attended
  • Category Certificate, If Applicable
  • In case of candidates in service, they have to produce No Objection Certificate from the employer and a letter of sanction of study leave for a period of two years.
