    AIMA has released list of test centers where MAT 2020 May Exam will take place. The exam will be conducted in 61 cities across India. Candidates can select any 2 test centers from the list of venues while filling the online application form. Test centers will be allocated on the basis of exam mode opted (PBT or CBT).  Due to COVID-19 pandemic AIMA has postponed exam dates for May session of MAT to June 14 (PBT) and June 21, 2020 (CBT). Registration for May 2020 session of MAT has started from March 6. Apply Now!

    Latest Update: AIMA has introduced MAT Internet Based Test, candidates can now take the exam from their homes between May 25 to June 25 by filling the registration form. Exam Center preference is not required for IBT mode as candidates will be taking the exam from their homes.

    While there are more exam cities for PBT mode in MAT 2020, the number of test centers for CBT mode are fewer. Candidates are advised to choose the centers carefully, as once selected no changes can be made later on. The list of all MAT Exam Centers for May session is provided here.

    Ques: Will Candidates be alloted exam centers for MAT IBT Mode exam?

    Ans: No, exam centers or venues will not be alloted for MTA internet based test. Candidates can opt for the exam from their homes as per their comfort and convenience. Itis to be notes that a computer system with webcam and good internet facility is required to appear for MAT IBT mode.

    • Request to change the exam centers will not be entertained after the final submission of MAT application form. Therefore, you are advised to enter their preferences carefully

    • Reach the exam center 30 minutes before the scheduled time so as to avoid last-minute rush 

    • Carry your admit cards, without it you will not be allowed to take the exam

    • Candidates reaching the venue after 15 mins once the exam has started, will not be permitted entry

    • Candidates need to carry passport-sized photo, blue/black ball-point pen

    • Items like mobile phones, earphones, calculators, watches or any electronic item should not be carried to the venue

    Ques. What documents do I need to carry to MAT Exam Center?

    Ans. Candidates must carry MAT 2020 Admit card along with a valid identity proof like Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID and Passport for verification at the exam center. If any candidate fails to present the admit card along with valid ID proof, he/she will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

    Ques. I live too far from the nearest available MAT Exam Center. What should if I arrive late at the exam center due to uncalled-for circumstances?

    Ans. All the candidates have to arrive at their respective test centers 45 minutes before the exam. Entry into the examination hall will end 15 minutes before the exam, and no one will be allowed inside the test center after that under any circumstances. It is advisable to make arrangements to reach your exam center on timekeeping these instructions in mind.

    Ques. What is MAT IBT mode? From when it will be conducted?

    Ans. AIMA has introduced internet based test for candiodates to appear for MAT despite COVID-19 lockdown. Aspirants can opt for IBT mode from May session onwards from their homes. The exam will be conducted via artificial intelligence provided candidates have a computer with webcam and internet facilities. 

    Ques. What items are allowed to carry in MAT Exam Center?

    Ans.  Candidates are only allowed to carry their admit card, ID proof and writing material like pen and pencil inside the exam center. Any other item or gadget is strictly prohibited from being brought inside the exam center. Any candidate found in possession of such item(s) will be disqualified from the exam on the spot.

    Ques. Can I change my allotted MAT Exam Center?

    Ans. Exam centers are allotted as per the preference of city submitted by the candidates during the registration. Any requests regarding the change in exam centers will not entertain by the authorities once the exam center has been allotted.

    Hi Sneeza, yes, students have to choose any two preferences out of which they will be allotted any one exam centers.

    Hi Varanya, photocopy of the ID proof is an option while bringing original ID is mandatory. Thus, it is advised that you keep an ID proof along with the photocopy with you on the day of examination.
