MAT Exam Centers 2018 (September): State-wise Test Venues

MAT Exam Centers 2018- All India Management Association (AIMA) has released 53 test centers where MAT Exam 2018 will be held. There are two international centers available as well viz. Dubai and Singapore. It must be noted that the online and offline papers have different test venues. The option to choose MAT exam center is given at the time of MAT Registration. Candidates can choose any two test centers available at the official website i.e. aima.in. The last date to register for September session is August 24, 2018 (for PBT) and September 8, 2018 (for CBT) .

Note: MAT Registration has been extended to August 27, 2018 from August 24, 2018.

The exam is held on multiple dates for offline and online mode of examination. Successfully registered candidates will appear for MAT on September 2 (offline) and September 16 (online). AIMA tries to allot one of the chosen MAT Exam Centers. How to choose MAT Exam Centers

The selection of exam centers has to be made according to the preference. MAT Exam Centers have to be chosen at the time of filling MAT Application Form. A candidate has to choose 2 exam centers. The important points related to MAT Exam Centers and procedure of selecting center are mentioned below-

  • After filling in all the details, candidates have the option to select MAT exam center.
  • They will have to select exam center from the given list of cities.
  • Candidates can select any one of the centers, keeping in mind their nearest cities as per their convenience.
  • Allotment of the examination centers will be done on the first-apply-first-allotment basis.
  • After selecting the exam centers, complete all the required details and make payment.
  • Candidates who register successfully will be allotted admit card. The final allotted exam center will be mentioned on it.

Note that due to operational constraints, the MAT committee reserves the right to add a new city or remove an existing one. It can allot a city that may not be included in the choices of the candidates. Whichever center is allotted to the candidate, it will be mentioned in the MAT Admit card along with the center details.

Do's and Don'ts at MAT Exam Centers 2018

Candidates are expected to follow the guidelines and instructions mentioned below to ensure smooth conduct of the exam:

Do's

  • Remember to reach the test center at least 30 minutes prior to the exam.
  • Remember to carry the MAT Admit Card issued to you. Without bringing the admit card, candidates would not be allowed to appear for MAT Exam.
  • Carry at least one photo identity card at the exam center for the purpose of verification at the MAT exam center. Candidates can carry any of the following photo ID cards: Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID and Passport.
  • Candidates should strictly follow the instructions mentioned on the question paper/ computer screen and given by the exam invigilator.

Don'ts

  • Electronic devices such as cellphones, electronic calculators, pagers, etc. are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Aspirants should not carry any bits of papers or documents to the MAT Exam Center except the admit card.
  • Candidates will not be permitted to go outside the exam hall during the conduct of MAT exam.
  • Any violation of the rules or any unfair means used during the examination can lead to disqualification of the candidature.

MAT Admit Card 2018

  • MAT Admit Card 2018 will be available from Fourth week of August.
  • All candidates who successfully register themselves will be able to download MAT Hall Ticket from the official website of AIMA i.e. aima.in.
  • Separate admit cards will be issued for online and offline exams.
  • MAT Admit Card contains details such as the language of paper, exam center, date & time slot of the exam, roll number and photo of the candidate.
  • Do not forget to carry any one of your photo identity proofs to the exam hall.
  • In case of any discrepancy observed in MAT 2018 Admit Card, candidates should immediately contact the official authority. 

MAT Exam Center FAQs

Ques: What documents do I need to carry to the MAT Exam Center?

Ans.: Candidates must carry MAT 2018 Admit card along with a valid identity proof like Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID and Passport for verification at the exam center. If any candidate fails to present the admit card along with a valid ID proof, he/she will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

Ques.: I live too far from the nearest available MAT Exam Center. What should if I arrive late at the exam center due to any uncalled for circumstances?

Ans.: All the candidates have to arrive at their respective test centers 45 minutes prior to the exam. Entry into the examination hall will end 15 minutes before the exam and no one will be allowed inside the test center after that under any circumstances. It is advisable to make arrangements to reach your exam center on time keeping these instructions in mind.

Ques.: What items are allowed to carry in MAT Exam Center?

Ans.:  Candidates are only allowed to carry their admit card, ID prood and writing material like pen and pencil inside the exam center. Any other item or gadget is strictly prohibited to be brought inside the exam center. Any candidate found in possession of such item(s) will be disqualified from the exam on the spot.

Ques.: Can I change my allotted MAT Exam Center?

Ans.: Exam centers are allotted as per the preference of city submitted by the candidates during the registration. Any requests regarding the change in exam centers will not entertain by the authorities once the exam center has been allotted.
