MAT Exam Pattern 2019: The management examination has five sections, each section having 40 questions. The total 200 questions are to be attempted over 150 minutes. Download free MAT Sample Papers
As MAT Exam is held four times a year, the next session is scheduled for February 24 (offline) and February 23 (online). The offline paper will be held from 10 AM to 12.30 PM and the online paper will be conducted in multiple time-slots.

Question: Is there any difference between paper based and computer based test?
Answer: The Paper-based test is generally offered in a single day for the candidates. MAT 2019 exam will be conducted in all the cities of our country. Candidates can choose the area which is nearby to their places. Candidates can also choose the center, day and time of his convenience to take an exam. Candidates have to bring Pen, Pencils, Eraser, and Sharper along with them whereas the OMR sheet and Question paper will be provided at the exam center. Unlike paper-based, computer-based test means the candidate sits in front of the computer monitor and read the questions are presented on the monitor, and answers the questions, and submit the answers. Each computer will be connected to the servers which will help to show a question set and delivers to the candidates. Candidates should be good at operating computer, keyboard and mouse.
Question: What is the mode of MAT exam?
Answer: MAT 2019 will be conducted in two modes. Those are Computer-based Test and Paper based test. Candidates can choose any one of the modes which are easy mode for them.
Question: What should my exam strategy be to improve percentile scores?
Answer: Candidates have to prepare extensively within a time limit, try to get adequate exposure to different models of questions, and analyze MAT mock papers.
Question: Is there any fixed syllabi for MAT exam?
Answer: No, there is no fixed syllabus in MAT exam. Candidates have to go through the analysis of the previous year papers. There are certain topics which will be asked in all the MAT exams which were mentioned above. Candidates should go through these topics to secure high marks in MAT exam.
Question: How many times is MAT conducted in a year?
Answer: MAT is conducted 4 times a year in the month of February, May, September, and February.
Question: I got 50% of marks in my Undergraduate degree examinations. Am I eligible for MAT exam?
Answer: Yes, you are eligible. Some colleges or schools have fewer cut-offs in graduation. You can select those colleges for their graduation.
