MU OET 2019 Admit Card: Download Hall Ticket @manipal.edu

MU OET Hall Ticket is issued after the completion of the slot booking process. The online test booking system (OTBS) generates the e-ticket within 24 hours after you will book your test slot. A copy of MET Admit Card is also emailed on the registered email ID.

Manipal University will release the official schedule of MU OET 2019 shortly at manipal.edu. The examination is a gateway to various UG and PG degree programs offered by the deemed university. Intermediate graduates with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate can apply for the available programs. Any discrepancies in the MU OET Admit Card, contact admissions@manipal.edu.

How to Download MU OET Admit Card?

Manipal University Admit Card can be downloaded only after an aspirant books a exam slot for himself/ herself for MET exam. So, let us first talk about Slot Booking for MU OET 2019.

Test Slot Booking

Candidates seeking admission to any of the program under Manipal University, will have to attempt the entrance exam. And, to appear for the same, he/ she must book a slot as per booking schedule.

How to Book a Slot?

The facility to book a slot is available to only those candidates who have successfully registered for the examination. The steps are as follows:

Step 1: Login to the Online Test Booking System (OTBS) – www.manipalotbs.com

Step 2: Enter your User ID (application number) and OTBS password (as emailed on the registered ID).

Step 3: Go through the slots and centers available and select one as per your preference.

Important Points: 

  • The bookings are done on a first-come-first-serve basis and subject to slot availability.
  • A slot once booked, CANNOT be changed under any circumstances.
  • If you do not receive OTBS password well in advance, please contact admissions@manipal.edu (Admission Officer) for the same.
  • MAHE will not be responsible for the non-receipt of the password through email if the registered ID  is incorrect or is no longer in use.
  • You are fully responsible for maintaining the security & confidentiality of the password.
  • If, for any reason, the test date / centre gets cancelled, another date / centre will be allotted. MAHE admissions office will inform the applicant of the new date / centre, well in advance.

About MU OET Admit Card

  • After finally booking a slot, OTBS will generate MET e-hall ticket within 24 hours.
  • A copy of admit card will be emailed to the registered email id.
  • Candidates must carry 2 copies of e-Hall ticket at the test centre.
  • Read and understand all the instructions given in the document.
  • Candidate will NOT be permitted to appear for MU OET without a valid ticket.
  • It is mandatory to keep the document safe until the admissions are finalised.

Discrepancy in Admit Card

There are two ways to contact the authorities to get the information rectified in the document:

  1. Via helpdesk: contact the helpdesk of the university in case there is any discrepancy. The helpdesk information is available on the homepage of the university website. Candidate may follow the instructions that are provided to him/her by the helpdesk. They may also follow the links provided by the university under the option ‘Contact Us’.
  2. Via direct login: login to change the incorrect details in their admit card. Also, if candidate has forgotten the password to the login id, then he/she may choose the option ‘forgot password’ and follow the steps.
Note: A copy of the admit card will also be mailed to candidate. Thus, candidate must provide correct email address in their application form. 

Documents Required with Admit Card

Candidates will have to bring the required documents for the invigilator to verify the details mentioned in it. Valid/ acceptable documents are:

  • MU OET Application Form
  • Any one of the following for photo identification:
  1. Passport
  2. Driving License
  3. Voter ID card
  4. PAN card
  5. School/College photo-bearing ID card
  6. Aadhaar Card

MET/ MU OET Guidelines

Candidates must keep the following points in mind:

  • Rescheduling request will NOT be considered under any circumstances.
  • Failing to appear on the selected slot, candidate will be marked as absent and will have the flexibility to book the next attempt (as shown in table below), by making an online payment of INR1400 through www.manipalotbs.com.

  • Test slot booking is subject to availability of slots at designated test centres
  • You can book the subsequent attempt test date, only after the earlier booked date has passed by
  • In case of non-availability of slots in a centre of your choice, you may choose to book a slot in an alternate centre
  • MU OET Form Fee will NOT be refunded under any circumstances
  • The 3rd attempt is only for candidates who have applied for BTech / BPharm / PharmD programs. CheckMET Exam Centers (3rd Attempt)

Exam Day Instructions

Candidates are advised to adhere to the instructions mentioned below at their respective exam centers:

Do’s

  • Carry all the requisite documents carefully along with the hall ticket.
  • They should ensure that the computer systems are working
  • Candidates are advised to report at least one hour prior to the commencement of exam.
  • Candidate should maintain the conduct during the examination.
  • Rough work is required to be done only on the space available on the exam booklet.
  • Handle the OMR sheet carefully to prevent any damage.
  • You are requested to reach the test centre 2 hours prior to the start of the test for the registration process.

Don’ts

  • Candidates should make sure that they are not carrying any unrequired things like paper chits or electronic devices to the test center.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to enter examination after 30 minutes from the commencement of the exam.
  • They should not carry any electronic gadgets like calculators, mobile phones, digital watches, etc
  • Carry all the mandatory documents given above.
  • Do not carry any electrical equipment or device (mobile phones, pager, electronic watch, and calculator etc) to the examination center. The electrical devices of any kind are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material, other than the mentioned documents and admit card to the exam hall.
  • The examination rights of candidates found with any of the prohibited material or item will be immediately cancelled. Also, they will be debarred from giving any examinations of the Institute in the future.
