MU OET 2018 Exam Pattern is under the discretion of Manipal University and is subject to change every year. Since a lot of courses are covered under MU OET, the exam pattern differs according to the course for which candidate is appearing in MU OET 2018. BTECH | Question paper for this course will have a total of 200 questions. 50 questions will be from physics, 50 from chemistry, 70 from mathematics and 30 from general aptitude. Duration: 150 minutes |

B.Tech LATERAL ENTRY | Question paper for this course will have a total of 90 questions. However, structure of question paper will be different for diploma holders and BSC graduates. Question paper for diploma students will have 50 questions from mathematics, 10 each from Physics and Chemistry, and 20 from communication skills in English. Question paper for BSC graduates will have 70 questions from mathematics and 20 from communication skills in English. Duration: 60 minutes |

MCA | Question paper for this course will contain a total of 100 questions, with English and Mental Ability having 25 questions each, 10 questions from Basic Mathematics and 40 questions from Computer Aptitude. Duration: 90 minutes |

MTECH | Question paper for this exam will have a total of 60 questions. 10 questions will be from engineering mathematics and 50 will be from discipline selected by candidate. Candidates can select any one discipline from a total of 9 while filling the application form. Duration: 90 minutes |

ME | Question paper for this exam will have a total of 60 questions. 10 questions will be from engineering mathematics and 50 will be from discipline selected by candidate. Candidates can select any one discipline from a total of 9 while filling the application form. Duration: 90 minutes |

BBA | Question paper for this course will contain a total of 100 questions, with 20 questions each from Numeracy, general English and General Awareness, 25 conceptual questions and 15 questions based on case study. Duration: 120 minutes |

MA (MEDIA & COMMUNICATION)/ PGDCC/ MA (FILM ART AND FILM MAKING) | Question paper for this exam will have a total of 120 questions from topics like reading comprehension, verbal ability, quantitative & numerical ability and reasoning & general intelligence Duration: 120 minutes |

B.Pharm/Pharm.D | Question paper for this course is of two types, depending upon choice of candidate. Both the question papers will have 200 questions. Group 1: It will have 50 questions each from physics and chemistry, 70 questions from biology and 30 from general English and aptitude. Group 2: Instead of 70 questions from Biology, their question paper will have 70 questions from Mathematics. Duration:150 minutes |

MPHARM/ PHARMD POST BACCALAUREATE | Question paper for this course will have a total of 200 questions, where each of the upcoming topics will have 25 questions Duration: 120 minutes |

MSC NURSING | Question paper for this course will have a total of 100 questions which will cover all the subjects of BSC nursing. Duration:120 minutes |

Marking scheme for **MU OET 2018** can actually be divided into two parts:

- Marking Scheme for ME and M.Tech courses
- Marking Scheme for all other courses
- Major thing to notice about marking scheme of all other courses under MU OET 2018 is that there is no negative marking. Which simply means that score of candidate wholly depends on the number of questions candidate has answered correctly, as incorrect answers will not lead to any deduction of marks.

**Syllabus for MU OET 2018** depends upon the course candidate is opting for. There is no complete exhaustive guidance provided by Manipal University for syllabus of all kinds of subjects under all types of courses. However, while going for MU OET 2018, candidate should keep following two things in mind:

Here are some important things to keep in mind while going for MU OET 2018:

- Reasonable basic knowledge of computer on the part of candidate is assumed.
- After the allotment of computer system in the exam hall, candidates must check that whether the system provided to them is working or not. In case it is not working, candidate must immediately contact the invigilator and report the issue.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any rough/blank sheets in the exam hall. Rough sheets will be provided to them in the exam hall.
- Candidates must not forget to carry at least one original photo ID proof along with the Admit card provided to them.
- Candidates, in any case, should not indulge in any kind of usage of unfair means or malpractices regarding the exam.

Hi Naman, Basic eligibility to apply is that a candidate must have passed 10 2 with 50% marks in aggregate.
