    NEET PG 2020 Result for All India 50% quota seats will release after the completion of the exam via online mode. The authority releases the result in pdf format in which the name of qualified candidates along with category, score (out of 1500) and result status (qualified and not qualified) are mentioned. Candidates can view the results on the official portal of NBE (National Board of Examinations). 

    Latest: NEET PG 2020 counselling Round-2 is stipulated to start from June 03 to June 09. The result for second round counselling will be published on June 12, 2020. Read more

    • NEET PG 2020 was successfully conducted on January 5, 2020 across 41 cities.
    • After the declaration of result, candidates can download their result using their email id and date of birth. 
    • Qualified candidates are given a unique All India NEET PG rank in the top to bottom of their scores.

    How to Check NEET PG 2020 Result?

    Candidates can check their results by entering their credentials namely Confirmation No., Testing ID and Date of Birth which is mentioned on the admit card issued by NBE. Steps to check the NEET PG Result and scorecard is mentioned below:

    1. Visit the official site of NBE
    2. Click on the link for “NEET PG 2020 Results”
    3. Enter the required credentials, i.e., testing id and date of birth to download the result
    4. Check the score and qualifying status on the

    Candidates are advised to download the final scorecard as it would be required at the time of counselling as well as final reporting to the college for admission.

    NEET PG 2020 Score Card

    In NEET PG 2020 scorecard, the candidate’s all India rank will be printed along with other details. Candidates would be able to download their result cum scorecard from the website. Candidates would have to use their testing ID and date of birth to download their scorecard.

    Result can also be seen through offline mode at Notice Board at Ansari Nagar Office of National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. The scorecard is not be sent to any candidate individually.

    Normalization of Score for NEET PG 2020

    Normalization of the score includes thepercentile score which basically means the minimum marks required to qualify the examination. The calculation of the percentile score is based on the applicant’s percentile in the exam in relation to the marks obtained by other applicants.

    Apart from this, candidates may also calculate their percentile score once their ranks are out by using the below-mentioned formula:

    The procedure to calculate the score based on the marking scheme of the NEET PG 2020 exam is given below:

    • For every correct answer, the candidate will score 4 marks.
    • For each incorrect answer, -1 will be deducted.
    • For marking more than one answer, the candidate will score 0 marks.
    • For un-attempted or blank answers, the student will score 0 marks.

    Procedure to calculate the NEET PG 2020 Score is mentioned below:

    Total number of correct answers x 4 – Total number of Incorrect answers x -1= NEET 2020 Score

    NEET PG 2020: Answer Key

    NEET PG 2020 answer key will be made available online by NBE (National Board of Examination) after the exam is conducted. In order to evaluate their own performance in the NEET PG 2020 exam, students can check with the answer key online.

    Steps to download answer key:

    1. Visit the official site i.e.
    2. Click on the link for “NEET PG 2020 Answer Key”
    3. Enter your testing id and date of birth.
    4. Answer key will be displayed on the screen.
    5. Download the official answer key and verify the result.

    NEET PG 2020 Merit List

    NEET PG 2020 Merit list will be prepared by NBE based on the candidate’s score in the examination. NBE is responsible for preparing the merit list for All India 50% quota seats whereas the state counselling authorities.

    Tie Breaker

    In case two or more candidates have scored similar marks in this examination, the following stated tiebreaker will determine the result:

    • Student older in age will be preferred: All the important details regarding the reservation for NEET PG 2020 are as follows:
    • All India NEET-PG 2020 rank: This is the overall merit position for all the students who have appeared for NEET PG 2020 examination.
    • All India 50% quota rank: This is the overall merit position for the candidates who have appeared in the examination and lie in the category of quota. All over India, 50% of seats are reserved for MD/MS/Post-Graduate Diploma Courses 2020 admission session.
    • All India 50% quota Category Rank: 50% seats, all over India, are reserved for candidates appearing for the NEET PG 2020 who falls in the category of SC/ST/OBC.
    • State quota/ Private medical colleges/Deemed University/AFMS Rank: Seats are also reserved for students with state quota rank, state category rank and rural posting.

    NEET PG 2020 Cut Off

    Cut-off marks are declared by NBE (National Board of Examination), once the results are out, based on which students get admission in respective colleges.The approximate cut-off for NEET PG 2020 is tabulated below:

    • Number of candidates appeared for the AIEED exam
    • No. of candidates passed the exam
    • The difficulty level of question paper
    • No. Of vacancies for this exam
    • Cut off may also be section-wise

    NEET PG 2020 Counselling

    NEET PG 2020 Counselling is expected to be conducted by NBE for the given quotas. All the information regarding NEET PG 2020 counselling is mentioned below. However, the information is tentative and subject to change:

    • All India 50% Quota Seats: Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India conducts the counselling for All India Quota 50% referring to the student’s result in NEET PG 2020.
    • State Quota Seats: The concerned States / designated authority / University conducts the counselling for state quota seats as per their score in the examination.
    • Admission In Private Medical Colleges, Institutes, Universities, Deemed Universities: The counselling for candidates to get admission in private medical colleges, institutes, universities and deemed universities are conducted by designated counselling authority of these Private Colleges/ Institutions/ Institutes/ Universities/ Deemed Universities.
    • Admission In Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions: The counselling to get admission in armed forces medical service institutions is conducted by the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defense, Government of India based on the rank and marks scored by the student.
    • Admission In Dnb Broad Specialty Courses: NBE (National Board of Examination) conducts the centralized merit based counselling based on the rank of the student in NEET PG 2020.

    Hi James, this depends on the college in which you are applying as the closing rank varies for each college.
