NEET PG Syllabus is prepared on the basis of the latest Graduate Medical Education Regulations notified by the Medical Council of India. Syllabus will include subjects from MBBS or BDS undergraduate course such as Anatomy, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, etc.

NEET PG 2018 Exam Syllabus 

NEET PG 2018 syllabus consists of subjects which were available in under graduation for MBBS and BDS students. The questions will be mostly asked from pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical subjects.

NEET PG Exam Pattern

For the academic session 2018 – 19, few changes have been introduced by the authorities. They are as follows:

  • NEET Marking Scheme: From this year, there shall be 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. Tabulated below is the updated marking scheme:

  • Aadhar Card Requirement: It is mandatory for all applicants (Exceptions: J&K, Assam, and Meghalaya) to have an Aadhaar card, which will be required during the registration.
  • No. of Sessions: The examination is conducted in 1 session where all candidates get the same question.

  • NEET PG 2018 question paper contains objective type Multiple Choice questions.
  • The examination is held online and is a Computer Based Test.
  • The examination duration is of 3 hours 30 minutes.
  • The first 15 minutes of the examination needs to be used in studying the test tutorial. This provides awareness to the candidates on how to navigate during the examination, how to select, de-select the responses and other navigation related tips and tricks.
  • The syllabus contains subjects issued by the Medical Council of India as per the graduate Medical Education Regulations.
  • NEET PG shares a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the candidates where the contents of this examination should not be shared with anyone outside the examination hall. Failure to comply with the agreement might lead to penal action and cancellation of candidature.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET PG) is conducted by the National Board of Education (NBE) for candidates who aspire to study MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses as per Section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The post graduate admission will be done based on NEET scores only, no other entrance examination will be conducted for the same. Read on
