NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
NIFT or National Institute of Fashion Technology is a premier institute offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of Design and Fashion Technology. Candidates can seek admission to various campuses of NIFT in the country by clearing NIFT entrance exam.
NIFT 2019 is scheduled for January 20, 2019. As per NIFT 2019 Exam Pattern, the paper is held in offline mode and conducted in 3 stages viz. Written test, Situation test, and Group Discussion/Personal Interview.

Candidates can admit themselves into courses such as B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, M.F.M, B.Des and M.Des based on their performance in exam. Candidates must qualify each stage of the exam separately in order to get admission in the course of his/her choice. The question paper will be available in English language only. NIFT 2019 Exam Pattern comprises GAT, CAT, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The UG and PG courses offered by NIFT are Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Master of Design (M.Des), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech), Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech) and Master of Fashion Management (MFM).
General Ability Test or GAT is a written test for all the 5 courses offered by NIFT. GAT is the first test for selection for B.Des and M.Des courses. After clearing GAT, B.Des and M.Des students are required to qualify CAT. Applicants who cleared both the written tests will be eligible for Situation Test followed by Group Discussion/ Personal Interview. GAT is the only selection test for B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech and MFM.

NIFT syllabus comprises Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Current affairs. Syllabus for both the GAT and CAT test is different and the same has been mentioned below.
Quantitative Ability: Addition, Multiplication, Division, Fractions, Percentage, Rate of Interest, Work & Task, Ratio & Proportion and Distance
Communication Ability and English Comprehension: Synonyms, antonyms, words with corresponding meanings, singular, plural, one-word substitutes, idioms & phrases, correct spellings

HOW MANY MARKS SHOUD I SCORE IN THE EXM FOR JST QUALIFI
The cut off for general in written exam(CAT GAT) was 41.5 marks Passing marks may vary every year. As you might know, nift entrance consist of Cat-50% Gat-30% and Situation Test-20% So if u have scored well in written exam(CAT GAT) you can easily get among top 2000 and ofc get selected for situation test.
How can I get an access to previous 10 year's question papers?
