NMAT by GMAC Registration 2018: Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) will release NMAT Application Form 2018 on July 3. The registration is completely online. Candidates with 50% marks in Graduation can apply for NMAT by GMAC at The form filling involves 3 main steps- Registration, Filling Application Form and Fee Payment. The application fee is INR 2000 for all candidates.

The examination is scheduled from October 4 to December 17 in online mode. NMAT Form filling window will be functional for 3 months, candidates can register and select a slot anytime during this time period. Nearly 90,000 candidates register for NMAT each year. Are You Eligible to Apply?

Given below are the eligibility conditions that a candidate must satisfy:

  • Nationality- Both Indian and NRI candidates can apply
  • Minimum Qualification- 50% marks in Graduation; appearing candidates can also apply
  • Age- Upper age limit is 25 years
  • Work Experience of two or more years after graduation is favored

NOTENMAT by GMAC Eligibility Criteria may hold separate conditions as per alloted college.

Pre-requisites for NMAT Registration

There are few particulars and documents that you must possess to make your form filling process easier. They are as follows:

  • A laptop or computer
  • Good internet connection
  • Valid Email ID
  • Active mobile no.
  • Basic contact details
  • Recent passport size photo in a prescribed format
  • Marksheets or Degree certificates

How to Fill NMAT Application Form 2018?

To fill NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form, candidates must follow the following simple steps:

Step 1: Registration

Fresh candidates applying for the exam are required to register with a fresh email id and contact number at the website using the mentioned steps.

  1. Go to the official website of NMAT by GMAC i.e.
  2. Click on “New User” tab to get the registration form.
  3. After email id gets registered, login again to complete the registration process.
  4. When you logged in, you will finally land up on the page where you need to fill all the required details for the registration process.
  5. Enter the required details and press submit.
  6. The system will auto-generate a registration number and mail the same at your registered email id and contact number for documentation and verification.

Step 2: Form Filling

This is the step where you actually provide all the details that create your profile for the test. It helps the authorities judge your eligibility, your medical standards, previous educational qualifications and other important details.

  • Once registration process gets completed, check their mail id to get the password.
  • Relogin as a registered user by entering registered id and password.
  • Fill all the required information in NMAT application form carefully.
  • Note down the application number.
  • Once completing NMAT by GMAC Registration, select the slot for the exam in schedule/reschedule exam category. 

Step 3: Uploading Images

This is the final step in creating a profile for the exam. Photograph and signature should be scanned and uploaded and thus one can be easily identified and thus it makes the process smooth.

  • Upload the scanned images.
  • Select the mode of payment to pay the application fee.
  • Take a print out of application form & keep it safe for further process.
  • Retain the registered email id and mobile number till the admission process gets completed.

Step 4: Pay Application Fee

The registration fee can be remitted via online mode only. The payment forms are as follows:

After the payment is made successfully, your schedule exam option will be activated in your dashboard. You must schedule your exam as per your preference and availability. Once the payment is realised, you can then download your NMAT Admit Cards from

  1. Candidates are required to visit respective university/college/school website for details of their admission procedure. You have to submit their respective form separately.
  2. You will be allowed to take NMAT a maximum of three times during the year’s testing period. This includes the first attempt plus a maximum of two retake attempts.
  3. Up to 5 programmes/schools are included in your registration fee. If you wish to apply to more than five (5) programmes/schools a fee of INR 200 plus applicable taxes will be charged for each additional programme/school.

NMAT Application Form Correction

NMAT by GMAC form correction option is expected to be available from the last week of July 2018. The window for editing mistakes in NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form will stay live until the 2nd week of December 2018. Facility for correction of mistakes will be available for students who have completed the online application process in all aspects i.e. Paid Examination Fee and Submitted Online.

All Students must note that they can change all data in NMAT by GMAC 2018 Application Form Except- Email ID, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Address Details.

Steps for NMAT Application Form Correction

  1. Visit the official website of NMAT 2018

  2. Click on ‘Form Correction’ link on the homepage

  3. Enter your username and password

  4. Edit the required fields

  5. Sava your corrected form

NMAT Scheduling Process

  • Candidates who have paid the registration fee will receive a Username and Password within 24 hours on the registered email id.
  • They can then begin scheduling their preferred time slot, date, and centre of examination from the given options.
  • The scheduling for NMAT is done on first come first serve basis. 
  • Candidates are provided the option of scheduling one test attempt at a time.
  • Once the scheduling is done, candidates receive a confirmation email from person VUE intimating the details of NMAT by GMAC 2018 exam.

NMAT Retakes Registration

  • NMAT can be taken a maximum of three times during the year’s testing period.
  • This will include the first attempt plus a maximum of two retakes.
  • The retake registration option will be enabled in your NMAT dashboard after your exam date. 
  • You just need to click on ‘Retake section’ and pay the retake registration fees.
  • There is no need to filling your details again.
  • Once the retake registration and the fee is realised you will be able to schedule your retake exam date.
  • You will have to wait at least 15 calendar days before you can appear for NMAT retake.

NMAT Reschedule

  • There is an option available to reschedule your appointment if you are not able to appear for the allocated slot.
  • You may reschedule your appointment up to 72 hours prior to your original appointment.
  • The payment for rescheduling can be made using a credit card only.

I have missed the date to Register for NMAT on 14th Oct,Now I can see that they have opened registration for Retake till 14th Dec.Since I didnt apply in the first attempt is it possible to apply for NMAT now during the registration window of Retake???
