NTSE 2019 APPLICATION & REGISTRATION
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
NTSE 2019 Registration will begin from Second week of September 2018. Candidates can fill the application form offline after downloading it from the official website. They can also access their application form from the office of Liaison Officer. Separate application form for stage 1 and 2 need to be filled. NTSE stage 1, exam will be held on November 03 to 04, 2018 andstage 2, exam will be conducted on May 18, 2019.

Application fee may apply for Stage I as per state policies. It must be confirmed while collecting the form. There is no application fee for Stage II. The fee has to be paid in the offline mode only, the details of which have been further mentioned in the article along with other important details related to registration.
Upon successful registration, candidates will be able to avail their admit card. Candidates must submit their NTSE Application Form after filling all the details and get it signed by the Principal. They can post the application form to the Liaison officer. Minimum eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by candidates applying for NTSE. Applicants must not be more than 18 years as on July 1, 2019.
Applicants must fill all the information carefully and check it before submitting the application form. No corrections are allowed after submission.

Candidates must note that the dates mentioned above are tentative and subject to change once the official notification for the exam will be released.

Candidates can fill the Application form offline after downloading it from the official website. Candidates can also access their Application form from the office of Liaison Officer.
After filling all details in Application Form candidates can submit the same via post to the address of State Liaison Officer. Step 3: Candidates have to attest NTSE 2019 Application Form from their Principal.
Step 4: Application fee as specified by the state/UT needs to be remitted by the candidates.

Ques. Where will I get the application form?
Ans. NTSE 2019 Application Form will be available on the official website of NCERT (www.ncert.nic.in). Candidates can also obtain the application form from the State/UT Liaison officer.
Ques. Why should I apply for NTSE?
Ans. Candidates apply for NTSE to get scholarship for higher studies. The primary objective of NCERT to conduct this examination is to identify intelligent students with high academic talent and help them succeed by providing scholarship.
Ques. I belong to OBC category. Can I apply?
Ans. Yes. You can apply. However, candidates are advised to refer the application form for caste category reservation. Some options of category such as OBC given in the application form are applicable only for the respective State/UT.
Ques. Is my photograph needed while filling the application form?
Ans. Yes. You have to paste a recent passport size photograph of yours in the space provided in the application form.
Ques. When is the deadline for application form submission?
Ans. The last date for submitting NTSE 2019 Application Form varies from state to state. Candidates will be notified about the deadline by the respective State/UT.
