RULET 2018 Exam Pattern

RULET 2018 (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) is scheduled to be held by the Department of Law, University of Rajasthan around Last week of May, 2018.

  • RULET 2018 question paper will contain 200 Multiple Choice Questions to be attempted within 2 hours’ time
  • Each question will be carrying 1 mark. Besides, there is no negative marking for incorrect attempt.
  • The question paper will be prepared on the following topics: Language Ability, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, General Science and Social Studies.

The written test will be followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview of a total 100 marks. RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) is a university level exam conducted every year for admitting aspirants into UG law programs offered by the university and its affiliated institutes.

RULET 2018 Exam Pattern in Detail

RULET 2018 question paper will comprise 200 questions. The questions will be of multiple choice based with 1 mark each. The exam will be conducted for a total duration of 2 hours or 120 minutes.

Moreover, the question paper will comprise five sections. The details of the same are tabulated below:

RULET 2018 Marking Scheme

The final selection will be done on the basis of written test, GD and PI which will weigh 300 marks in total. Marks allotted to GD and PI are 100. The remaining 200 are divided in the following manner:

RULET 2018 Important Instructions

It is mandatory for every aspirant to follow the instructions as laid down by the university strictly:


  • It is advised that aspirants should reach the examination center ten minutes before the reporting time (3:00 pm) as no students are allowed to enter the hall after 3:50 PM.
  • Aspirants must carry admit card to the examination venue.
  • Candidates must bring a blue/black ballpoint pen in order to fill the OMR sheet.
  • Students must maintain silence inside the examination hall. Any violation or disturbance inside the hall will be treated as misbehavior. Moreover, candidate engaged in such practices shall give up his/her right to appear for the examination. In this case the verdict of the Superintendent will be treated as the ultimate.


  • Students are barred from exiting the hall unless the test gets over.
  • Scribbling on the Admit card is strictly prohibited and will be considered as unfair means.
  • The question paper should not be tampered or torn under any circumstances.
  • Objects like written or printed text material, bits of paper or electronic gadgets like mobile phone, calculator and digital watches will not be entertained inside the exam hall.
