Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts Symbiosis National Aptitude Test every year in the month of December for admission to MBA / M.Sc Programmes in its 16 Universities. It is an online exam that is conducted in over 90 cities across India. There are many other universities that accept SNAP Scores. SNAP 2020 registration will tentatively commence in the third week of August, 2020 and will last all the way till November. The exam will be conducted in the month of December 2020.

Students who are Indian Citizens, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin(PIO), Non-Resident Indian(NRI) and Foreign National can apply.
Students who have graduated from a recognized University with at least 50% marks (General Category) or 45% Marks (Reserved Category) can apply.
Students appearing for their final exams can also apply. However, their admission is confirmed once they submit their passing certificate with a required minimum percentage.
Students who have completed their graduation from a Foreign University need to obtain an Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to be eligible for the exam.
The above SNAP 2020 Exam Eligibility is not the same as MBA Programme Eligibility. It may vary from one to another Symbiosis Institute.
Registration is completed in a couple of steps and it usually begins in the month of August

Steps to be followed during Registration:
Go to the official website of SNAP Registration - http://snaptest.org/
Upload your latest Scanned coloured passport photograph. The photograph should not be three months older or beyond.
Fill in details regarding your name, DOB, Mobile Number, and Email ID. Ensure these are correct details as you cannot make changes afterward.
Registration will not be completed unless the fee is paid.
The fee for SNAP needs to be paid before the deadline for registration. Though the closing dates for program applications vary from Institute to institute. Make sure to pay before the deadline of the Institute you wish to apply.
After the registration is done, you can only make changes to city preferences. No further changes are entertained.
Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies has different reservation policy from the one regulated by the UGC.
The applicants need to submit the required supporting documents during the selection procedure. Absence of sufficient documents will lead to the cancellation of admission.
The category chosen at the time of registration will be considered throughout the selection rocedure in case the candidate falls into more than one category.

Applicants can download their admit cards by first week of December 2020. The Admit Card needs to be carried along on the day of examination to the exam Center.

You will learn Time Management as you need to complete 110 questions in 120 minutes.

Solving previous years and giving mock tests will boost your Confidence Level.
The mock tests are usually available on the official website from October to November.one need to register for it and book their slots.
One should focus on all three sections equally. Identify your weak and strong sections and prepare accordingly.
This section tests the candidate’s proficiency in Grammar and Comprehension. This is an easy section to prepare. There are specific types of questions being asked which can be easily identified once you go through previous year questions. Practice grammar exercises from books like Wren and Martin. Prepare all the grammatical rules thoroughly. Plan a strategy of how you will attempt ‘Reference to Context’ questions as they are most time consuming in this section. Build your vocabulary slowly and gradually and incorporate those words in daily life otherwise it's hard to remember all the new words at once.
Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency
Practice questions on Ratio and Proportion, Percentages and Averages, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Number System, Time and Work, and Speed, Distance and Time. Make a note of all formulae and memorize them by heart. Learn short tricks to solve the questions in less period of time. Practice on how to interpret graphs and diagram. It is a scoring section.
Analytical and Logical Reasoning
This section is the most interesting section amongst all the sections. Familiarity with the types of questions and lots of practice is the only way to crack this section. One should practice questions on topics like Blood Relations, Statements and Conclusion, Critical Reasoning, Statement and Assumption, Number and Letter Series, Coding, Directions, Syllogisms and Word Formation.

After the applicants clear the SNAP Cutoff, each institute has its own criteria to evaluate the candidate on the basis such as SNAP 2020 Test Score, academic record, overall profile and work experience . GD PI tests candidates’ communication skills, personality and other soft skills. The selection procedure generally starts in the month of February.
