SSC Junior Hindi Translator exam 2018 is most likely to take place in the month of September 2018. The candidates who want to apply for the post should be thorough with the exam syllabus as well as the exam pattern

All information to SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam should be checked on the official website of SSC (http://ssc.nic.in/). There are two papers in SSC entrance exam for Junior Hindi Translator. Paper 1 is objective type question paper comprising questions on General English and General Hindi. Paper 2 is based on translation and essay. The total marks for each the papers is 200, and time duration for each paper is 2 hours.

SSC JHT 2018 Exam Pattern in Detail

There are two parts of the SSC entrance exam for the post of Junior Translator.

Paper 1

  • The first part is the written examination.
  • Part 1 is an objective type multiple choice question paper, comprising 2 subjects: General English and General Hindi.
  • Each section is of 100 marks and time duration is 2 hours.
  • The paper is of 200 marks and time duration is 2 hours.

Paper 2

  • Paper 2 is conventional Type
  • This section consists of Translation and Essay Questions
  • Duration for this section is 2 hours
  • Marks allotted for this section is 200
  • In translation candidate will be given one Hindi to English and one English to Hindi passage.
  • In essay also candidate has to write essay in Hindi and English.

SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam 2018 Marking Scheme

  • SSC Junior Hindi Translator Exam total marks is 200 in each paper.
  • Paper 1 has negative marking as it is an objective type of question paper. For each wrong answer, 0.25 mark is deducted.

        SSC JHT 2018 Important Instructions

        • All detailed instructions on syllabus, exam patterns should carefully examined at the website http://ssc.nic.in before applying.
        • Mobiles and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in the examination halls.
        • All candidates are advised to reach the examination center half an hour before the commencement of exam.
        • There is negative marking. Hence, candidates should keep this in mind while answering the questions.
        • Canvassing in any form is not entertained.
        • Candidates must write the papers or mark the answers in their own hand.
        • Candidate should write his/her name, Roll Number, Ticket Number, examination name, DOB, Test Form Number correctly, in the relevant places in OMR Answer Sheet.
        • Answer Sheet not bearing candidate’s full information will not be evaluated.
