SSC Stenographer 2018 Application form will be issued in the month of May 2018 at www.ssc.nic.in. The announcement will be made through leading newspapers in the recruitment column and the intimation will also be displayed in the SSC website in the latest updates column.
SSC Stenographer 2018 will be conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) for the vacancy of Stenographer position in the Grade C and D Category.

The eligibility for SSC Stenographer recruitment is based on 3 criteria - age, nationality and educational qualification. However, a certain amount of relaxation is given by the Government for Widows, Ex Defence people, Minority and SC / ST Category.
Candidate should be an Indian National to qualify for the exam. However, the Staff selection commission also permits people from Indian Origin selected in the neighbouring countries. The eligibility list is as follows
The age limit for the candidates should not less than 18 years as on August 2nd 2000 and not greater than 27 years as on August 1st 1991. However, relaxation is given to candidates from OBC and SC/ST category
3. Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for SSC Stenographer should have completed 12th standard from a recognized Board or a course equivalent to the same.
The application form can be filled by online mode only and candidates are advised to have necessary documents in hand prior to filling the application form. Candidates applying for the first time have to register in the website before applying for the exam.

In case of any corrections or changes, candidates can enter their registration number and date of birth in the application page and make necessary changes. However, if candidates are unable to make the necessary corrections online, they can contact the nearest Staff Selection Commission office or write an email to them regarding the same. Major changes like Examination centre, Application to specific Posts, 10th certificate number will not be entertained.
