    Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) that started functioning from the 1st January, 1976 is responsible for development of secondary education in the state of Tripura, India. It provides grants to its affiliated schools and also oversees higher education in the state. It was established in 1973 by Tripura Board of Secondary Education Act, 1973 as passed by Tripura Legislative Assembly. There are over 1000 schools that are affiliated to Tripura Board as on 1st January, 2020.

    Tripura Board Important Dates 2020 :

    Due to the sudden abruption of the workings because of the Covis-19 pandemic, the results of the TBSE HS were delayed. But recently Tripura Board has declared the results of its students of all the streams i.e. Humanities, Commerce, and Science.     Tripura Board Result 2020 – Supplementary Examination

    The students who haven’t been able to clear 12th board examinations can fill the form for Supplementary Examination on the official website of TBSE. The students have to submit the application fee soon after filling the form. The further details will be announced on the official website of the Tripura Board.

    Eligibility for Application for Supplementary Examination- The student must have passed in at least two subjects in order to fulfil the criteria condition for sitting in the supplementary examination.

    Tripura board exams, like any other board exams, are designed to test both Theoretical and Practical Skills of the students. That is why the exams are marked on the basis of the main written paper and also internal assessment or practical examination. This is done to test the overall skills of the students.

    Tripura Board Admit Card

    Once the Tripura Board has released the notification of the Admit Cards of TBSE examination, the students have to visit their school to collect their Admit Cards.

    Admit Card is obviously the most important document for all the students as it will enable the students to sit for the TBSE Exam. It contains the most important details like the official name of the students, the enrolment number, the Examination Centre, date of the exams, and the subjects that the student has to appear for. So, very carefully keep it with you till the very end.

    Tripura Board Exam Pattern

    The time given to complete one 10th class board exam is 3 hours (180 minutes) and 15 minutes extra are given for reading the question paper in which writing anything is not allowed. This crucial time period of 15 minutes should be properly utilised by the students for:

    2. Choosing the questions to be attempted, wherever applicable.
    3. Looking for any doubts in the questions and asking them right away.
