TS POLYCET 2020 Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme and Syllabus

    TS POLYCET is an offline pen & paper based test which is of 2 hours duration. All the candidates need to carefully go through TS POLYCET Exam Pattern to understand the scheme of examination. The question paper comprises one test paper, which has 120 multiple-choice questions.

    • TS POLYCET 2020 will be conducted on April 4, 2020.
    • Maximum marks are 120 and each correct answer earns one (1) mark.
    • Negative marking scheme is not applicable.
    • TS POLYCET 2020 entrance exam test paper will be divided into 3 sections:
    1. Section A: Mathematics
    2. Section B: Physics
    3. Section C: Chemistry

    TS POLYCET 2020 Exam Pattern in Detail

    • TS POLYCET 2020 Exam is intended to test general intelligence of Physics and Chemistry, and Quantitative & Mathematical Ability.
    • Single test paper consisting of 120 multiple choice questions.
    • In total, there will be 3 sections in the paper and candidates need to attempt the paper within the allotted duration of 02 hours.
    • Syllabus of TS POLYCET is based on class 10th syllabus prescribed by Board of Secondary Education, Telangana State. The number of questions and maximum marks allotted varies in each section.

    TS POLYCET 2020 Marking Scheme

    • The test paper will be consisting questions of 120 objective type multiple choice questions and every question has equal weightage.
    • Each question is allotted One (1) mark for the correct response and no mark will be deducted for incorrect response of any question.
    • No deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated for any question.

    Important Instructions to Fill TS POLYCET OMR Sheet

    • Fill required information on OMR Response Sheet before starting of test paper.
    • 5 minutes before starting of the exam will be given for furnishing all formalities and completing entries on OMR Response Sheet like Sequence Number of Question paper, Application / Registration Number, Roll Number, Exam etc.
    • Don’t Open the sealed OMR Response Sheet and Question Paper Set before the instructions of the Invigilator.
    • Read carefully Instruction to mark responses on OMR Sheet, if any mistake in marking is done then scanner will not be able to read response.
    • Mark the circles completely; partially marked circles will be considered incorrect.
    • Don’t leave any smudge marks on OMR sheet or question paper. It can lead to disqualification.
    • Use space at the end of question paper to do rough work.
    • Check pages of Question paper and OMR Sheet, if there is any issue, immediately bring it to the notice of the Invigilator and get it changed.
    • Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material, Calculators, Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, pager or any other device, except the Admit Card, identity proof, document as required.
