NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
VITEEE is conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for VITEEE 2021 will be a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Mathematics in Class 12.
Over 2 Lakh students apply for VITEEE entrance exam every year. All the eligible candidates will be offered admissions to B.Tech programs at VIT Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal and Amravati. Registration for the same could be done in both online and offline mode.
The registration process will begin from October 2020 to February 2021 (tentatively). You can register online by visiting the official website – vit.ac.in. VITEEE 2021 Computer-based test will be scheduled to held on the 2nd to 3rd week of April 2021.
VITEEE 2021 test duration will be 2.5 hours. The test will have 125 MCQs from Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Mathematics, Aptitude, and English sections. Eligible candidates will compete for 5000 engineering seats. You can select the exam centers as per your convenience from 124 Indian states and 4 International cities - Dubai, Muscat, Qatar, and Kuwait during the time of VITEEE 2021 Slot Booking.

VIT Vellore will soon announce the fixed dates of the exam. The tentative dates for the VITEEE 2021 exam are illustrated in the tabular form below:

VITEEE is usually conducted in 3 shifts per day with each paper duration of 2.5 hours. The exam days can prolong depending on the number of registrants and exam centers.

Candidates who wish to appear in VITEEE 2021 must ensure that they satisfy VITEEE Eligibility criteria as stated by Vellore Institute of Technology.
Nationality: Candidate must be a resident or non-resident Indian citizen. Foreign students can apply under the foreign category.
Educational Qualification: Eligible candidates must secure an aggregate score of 60% in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Biology in Class 12. Candidates belonging to Jammu & Kashmir, North Indian states or SC/ST category will have to score an aggregate of 50% in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics/Biology in Class 12. Also, class 12 appearing students can also apply for the exam.
Age Limit: Eligible candidates should have a date of birth on or after July 1, 1999, to be considered for VITEEE 2021.
Eligible candidates can apply for VITEEE 2021 in both online and offline mode depending on their convenience. The online forms for VITEEE 2021 are available until the last week of February 2021. Interested students can visit the official website- vit.ac.in. to fill the online forms. And the ones who are applying offline must collect the application forms from VIT campuses.

Complete the registration process and confirm the application number and password via valid email ID and password.
Fill the VITEEE 2021 Application form and make the payment via NET Banking/credit card/debit card/ Paytm.
Once that is done, download the application form for future reference.

VITEEE exam is held for several days and slots and the candidate can book a slot on a particular day as per his/her convenience. The slot booking can be done in OTBS (Online Test Booking System) and VIT will open it on a date which will be notified soon. Various options for the selection of VITEEE 2021 exam centers will be available there.
Procedure to book your exam center and slot:
Step1: visit the official website – vit.ac.in. Click on “Book a seat”
Step 2: Select your preferred state and city for the test.
Step 3: choose the test center and time slot as per your convenience.
Step 4: Click on Book to confirm the slot booking.
Once the candidates book their exam slot online, the admit card of VITEEE 2021 exam will be released immediately.
To book slots, the candidates will have to log in to the online test booking system with the help of the application number and online test booking password.
Every candidate receives the online test booking password via E-mail.
The Admit card contains all the important exam details including the Date, time, roll no. etc.
It is mandated for the candidate to carry the admit card at the time of their examination.
Candidates won’t be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
The paper consists of 5 sections including the newly added Aptitude section having 10 questions. It is very important for the candidates to know the VITEEE 2020 Exam Pattern as it will guide them well for the exam.

VITEEE Sample papers play a vital role in the exam preparation; to understand the test pattern and improve the level of prep. VIT University will release its official mock tests on its website before VITEEE 2021 exam.
Solving practice papers will give you a rough idea about the questions that can likely appear in VITEEE 2021.
Candidates can analyse and plan the amount of time that should be spent on each section.
Practicing mock tests on a regular basis can help in knowing the strong and weak areas of the candidates.

Once the exam commences, the results of VITEEE 2021 will be published on the official website - www.vit.ac.in.

There is no provision to send the rank card to the candidates by post, instead, an email will be sent to the registered phone number of the candidates.
No revaluation or re-totalling of the answer sheets will be done.
The seats will be allocated soon after the VITEEE 2021 counselling process.

There will not be any change in the date and time of the counselling under any circumstances.
During the counselling process, the seats will be allocated to the candidates based on their All India Rank and the choices filled by them.
Candidates are expected to carry the following documents at the time of VITEEE Counselling.
VITEEE 2021 Admit Card, Exam Result copy, class 10th Board certificate or any evidence of age, mark sheet of the qualifying exam, community certificate (for SC/ST only), Nativity Certificate (for candidates belonging to J&K, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura.), Demand draft of INR 30,000 drawn in favour of VIT University is payable at Vellore.

Cutoff for all the campuses is released separately on the basis of the availability of seats that is in the form of opening and closing ranks for the admission to a range of courses in Engineering. Students will be granted the admission based on the rank list on the official website. Candidates with the top rank, that is from 1 to 20,000 are invited to participate in phase 1 counselling on multiple dates.
