After searching and surfing the web, I got to know that Germany is the best country to study data science. I applied to various universities there out of which my application got selected in 2 universities and after reading many positive reviews I finally opted for the University of Trier. As the application fee, I have paid € 50 (non-refundable) for the online application.
My program is divided into semesters that have their respective importance. The curriculum is providing enough knowledge needed by the shining leaders and to excel well in this field.
After completing my bachelor's in computer applications, I have developed a keen interest in the data analytics field. So I have decided to opt for it as the main subject in my master's. I have to submit various documents such as Academic transcripts, Secondary school certificate, Language certificate, CV, Passport and Visa, etc. along with my scores of TOEFL as the proof of language proficiency of 7 bands (IELTS) to get through the admission requirements.
Career opportunities for this course are exceptionally strong and I am having the flexibility to undertake a wide variety of career paths. On talking to our seniors I got to know that some of them who pursued this program have gone to work in many fascinating areas and industries, working at multinational companies.
Workshops, seminars, and career drives are some of the events that are regularly conducted at the campus. Also, a lot of public lectures and guest lectures are also organized for us.
As most of the German colleges, my university don't charge any tuition fee. I only have to pay a semester fee of € 300 per semester.
The faculties provided by our university is really amazing. Teachers are worried about our growth. Our batches are small-sized that is why it is easy for us to interact with the professors and they also know us really well. Even after the classes, they are easily approachable and ready to answer our queries. They are highly experienced people with the best of the available knowledge in respective fields.
I reside in an of-campus housing facility near my campus. The students union helped me a lot in finding it. I live here on a sharing basis. The rooms here are semi-furnished but all the things for basic needs are available here.
