International Students Admissions

Guidelines for International Students

  1. International applicants have to obtain a student visa to be eligible for study in New Zealand.
  2. English Proficiency Test score to be sent directly from the testing agency to the University. It accepts English Proficiency Scores from a number of Testing agencies like IELTS/ TOEFL/ Pearson PTE etc.
  3. The University requires a minimum score of 75-85% at the high school level from Indian applicants to be eligible for study at the University of Auckland.
  4. Official transcripts must be notarized by the secondary institution of the applicant to be certified as an acceptable copy of results. If the transcripts are not in English, they have to be translated to be certified as a true copy.

Requirements for International Students Visa

  • After the student is selected for admission, the student has to receive a student visa to study in New Zealand.
  • Students can apply for a visa as soon as they receive a confirmation for study at the University of Auckland.
  • Proof of financial ability along with an acceptance letter as a student to the said institute has to be submitted with the visa application.
  • Applicants also need to provide additional information like contact details, consent of the legal guardian, records of any previous visa refusals etc.
