How to Accept the Seat and Pay the Admission Fee?

Seat acceptance is fully online through the AMU counselling portal. Candidates must complete both steps before the July 8 deadline.

• Log in at counselling.amuonline.ac.in with your credentials.
• Use your application number, date of birth, and password.
• Open the Round 1 seat allotment dashboard.
• Confirm the allotted seat by clicking the accept option.
• Proceed to the online fee payment gateway.

What Happens If Candidates Miss the July 8 Deadline?

Missing the July 8 window has direct consequences under AMU rules. The allotted seat is cancelled without a second chance for that round.

The vacant seat then moves to the next eligible candidate. Such candidates may still try their luck in Round 2 counselling. Vacant seats after each round are carried forward automatically.

AMU 2026 UG Counselling Rounds

AMU conducts its UG counselling in multiple rounds each session. The pattern typically has three counselling rounds.
