Ques 1. Kindly tell us about your experience in the education industry and what makes it the best industry to work in?

Ans. Well, the education industry is the mother of all the prevalent industries in the market. It gives birth to all the people working in any sector of industry segments.  I think it is one of the best industry as you get to deal with a lot of fresh talent and potential and got to nurture them.

Ques 2. Any of the significant challenges you faced as the HOD of Dronacharya group of Institution?

Ans. Being a HOD is always challenging. You encounter day to day challenges which you need to tackle sometimes as a HOD, Teacher, Sister, Mother, Friend etc. It’s a new learning every day for me too.

Ques 3.How does your curriculum ensure best practices of the industry?

Ans. Well, as mentored by my mentors, and very rightly so, the University curriculum is just a gate way to a degree. That doesn’t always ensure full or up to date knowledge. Dronacharya’s curriculum inculcates a lot of Co-Curricular and Extracurricular to give the student what is desired in the industry. We make the students attend a lot of CII. MSME and NEN workshops to make them better technocrats and managers. With our customized IIT courses, we give the best to the students. A lot of student exchange programs in association with Industry provides our curriculum a niche edge over other colleges. We have a very strong Research and Development TEAM which promotes latest projects. One thing very unique in DGI is, we encourage the students’ projects from second year itself so that they become very well aware of the practical aspects of Industry. DGI kids have won laurels on International Well, I can go on and on about the uniqueness of our curriculum, but these are just the excerpts.

Ques 4. What goals do you have in your mind for Dronacharya group of Institution?

Ans. The goal is to create such an environment in the college where the student will himself/herself want to be in the college for hours and study. We wish to make our students best engineers and above all, best people in the available.

Ques 5. You pride yourself on the level of education and responsibility you teach here to students. How to you ensure the quality of education in your institution?

Ans. The main emphasis is to give an exposure to the real-life scenarios to the kids. With the bookish culture, any student can pass the exam, but to make them ready for the future challenges is our goal. Be it cracking CAT, SSB, GATE anything, we truly believe in living on our mission statement, i.e ‘‘Shiksha evam Sahayata’ and ‘Combining Tradition with Modernity’.

Ques 6. How do you build a positive school culture or climate?

Ans. Well, as I said before, our emphasis is to make the better people along with good engineers, this is possible with the senior faculty we have in the college. These faculty not only bring along a very polished academic outcome but also carry a very rich life experience with them. They make the students understand things in a much-customized manner by being Teacher, Mentor and Parent.

Ques 7. What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

Ans. My philosophy of leadership is very simple. If your TEAM is not with you, you fail as a Leader and vice versa. I believe in giving full space to the TEAM and let them practice their own way of working. Of course, I remain available for any help they need. Values, ethics and honesty are the key mantras of me, my TEAM and Dronacharya Family.

Ques 8. Being a professor yourselves and to be involved in the deep decision makings of the institute, how important do you feel the need of the Top Managements of various institutes to be involved in daily decision makings?

Ans. Well, I think the role of top management is very important and they must be available as a support for day to day decision making. They must focus on big things like patents, Government Grants, College expansion, improving results and academics.

Ques 9. What would be your ideal school environment, and how would you encourage that kind of culture?

Ans. My kind of school environment is to give space to the kids and have lots of activities in college. They must be very involved in studies at the time of studies and must be involved in other activities with the same passion and zest.

Ques 10. Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

Ans. Well, I see a lot of impatience in today’s generation. They are always in hurry in their lives. All, I want to say is, Give time some time. Things will eventually fall your way and have patience. Never shy away from working hard and take the advice from older people. After they have turned grey, with time and experience.
