How do you look at your association with Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology?
It was fine. I joined as a founder Vice Chancellor on 17 December 2013. The journey was extremely fulfilling despite many weaknesses, loopholes, preparedness to operate and University and other associated challenges. Further, in view of this being the first non-affiliating technical University after U.P. state lost University of Roorkee, this association became much more thrilling and challenging.

While changing the status from college to university, the major challenge was the “mindset”. There was an urgent need to change that mindset and we successfully overcame that. All key functionaries and stakeholders had to be made to understand that they have to behave in much more responsible and aggressive manner after becoming University. Deficient infrastructure and human resource was also one of the hurdles yet till date we have made mind-boggling improvements and worked upon the overall framework of the university.
