Dr. Bharath Booshan is currently working as Head Corporate Relations & Professor at IAME Bangalore. He has 12 + years of functional experience in Sales & Marketing and 5+ years of teaching experience. He is a Doctorate of Management Studies. He did his MBA in Marketing from Bangalore University in 1998. He is AMFI and IRDA certified professional and an expert in Wealth Management.
Dr. Booshan is an excellent motivator, dynamic and has a very practical approach towards teaching & Career Guidance. He has also experience in media, banking, and marketing sector for more than a decade. He has been a wonderful motivator for management students & Industrial Professionals. He is the key to connecting corporate and educational institutions in various activities like placement, job fairs, industrial content programs.

Motivating, handholding, encouraging and supporting his team are few best traits of a good leader. Being the Professor, of IAME, I get to mold young minds and sow the seed of professionalism.
Challenges for the Professor of IAME, Bangalore
Dealing with the millennial according to me is the biggest challenge as the young generation has great aspirations and less patience. These youngsters today have Google at their disposal for any kind of information, hence a role of a teacher becomes immensely important. Therefore, I believe that I am a facilitator rather than a teacher.
On looking after corporate relations of the institute as well
While we teach our students to be multi-taskers, how could we not do the same? Multitasking is the need of an hour and helps us to polish our professional skills. At IAME, I work at various levels like teaching, placements, admissions, and events. I take pride that I am a useful resource to the organization.
A great relation with the students
As a facilitator, it is important to impart the value-based education to our students and at the same time help them Learn life skills. The student’s relationship continues even after their passing out. The role then becomes from a teacher to a mentor.
Views on an ideal environment for learning
Ensure student participation in the class through presentation and encourage group discussions about the current affairs and general knowledge along with the regular subject. Organize guest sessions from the industry for the wide exposure of students.
Certification from AMFI and IRDA adding value for the students
As a certified professional would change the thought process of the student about the financial markets and help them to understand the feature of the banking industry and their growth in career.
Top qualities that an aspiring Manager must possess
As a Manager, I think one must possess:

Goals in mind for IAME for the coming years
I want our institution to be in the Top 5 position in India in next 5 years, want to be a research center and university of its own.
Suggestions for the youth
To able to see and draw a bigger picture. To be a successful entrepreneur and contribute to the economy of the nation. To be the managers like Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos. My mantra is “Work hard and make money, make your parents and nation proud”
