December 01, 2017, Greater Noida: GLBIMR organized a full day session on "Marketing Management”, under the ongoing Expert Talk Series, initiated by Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director General, GLBIMR; on December 01, 2017. The Expert Speaker of the session was, Dr. Sanjiv Mittal, Dean and Professor-Marketing, Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, who is an acclaimed academician with more than 30 years of rich experience, and several accolades for his contribution in the field of education. Dr. Urvashi Makkar, while welcoming the Guest Speaker, shared that the main objective of this series is to provide an understanding of the marketing concepts to develop a clear understanding of company’s marketing mix which will help them to analyze the decisions in the overall marketing strategy of the enterprise.
Dr. Sanjiv Mittal is a marketing expert with 34 years of rich academic experience has worked as Head of Department of Management Studies, at Institute of Management Studies and Research Maharishi Dayanand, University, Rohtak. He has contributed many articles in Journals of National and International repute and also delivered lectures in countries like US, Denmark, and Norway. He, during the session shared various concepts of marketing management and scope of marketing like Pricing Mix Strategies, Place Mix Strategies, Promotion Mix Strategies, Research and Demand Forecasting and Marketing Strategies and Emerging Trends, Marketing Research, Sales and Distribution, Advertising and Promotion, Customer Service, Product Development, Market Planning where also discussed followed with few real-time case studies related to the topics.
