Mr. Kishore Sharma is designated as the Director of Taxila Business School. He is a successful business leader, having a master’s degree in management. With 18 years of teaching experience, he has sincerely contributed his efforts in making Jaipur a business destination.
Mr. Sharma is also an active member of CII Region Special Task Force (North) committee on corporate social responsibility. He was acknowledged by Press Club of India and by the famous writer Chetan Bhagat for his exemplary professional journey recently.
In an exclusive interview with Collegedunia.com, Mr. Sharma talks about his experience in the education and management industry.
Views on Education Industry in India
In India, the largest population is from the age bracket of 5-24 years. This frame comprises of the individuals who can be easily influenced and moulded. We believe that providing education to this slab in a proper and defined way enhances their intellectual skills and knowledge but also helps in effective growth and development.
It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction that I am able to contribute and impart my share of experience to them. This in turn will help them to face the real-world problems in a better way. Also, the appreciation that we receive from the students, motivates us to deliver more quality education. I feel proud to be associated with the education industry and contributing to the process of developing the career of the young generation.
Coherent leadership philosophy
A leader performs an essential role of understanding and leading a team in order to maximize efficiency and achieve organizational goals in a better way. He/ she should not only supervise but also come along with the team and guide them in a right direction.
For me, I would say that I have set a clear vision for the organization. I strongly believe in motivating the entire team and guide them in every step they are taking. It is necessary to respect the integrity and treat others the way they want to be treated. A good leader always embraces the opportunity to contribute and bring out the best in all.

I have maintained a very cordial and smooth relationship with faculty, students, and management. Being a Director, I also try to be a coach, guide, motivator, and even a critical analyser. I spend most of my time with the students and Taxila team. Students can contact me at any time of the day regarding any issue. I try to organise lectures/ workshops to understand the psyche of the students in a better way.
Goals for making Global Institute
The mission of Taxila is ‘To be internationally Top Ranked, Research Driven, Independent Management School that Grooms Future Leaders of the world.’ We are already at a swift pace of providing Management Education to all aspiring graduates of different disciplines.
Based on the institute's past strength, we are now planning to start our campus at Singapore/ Dubai/ Malaysia to provide better international exposure to our students. Along with global colleges, we also intend to have students from other countries on our campuses to become true Global Business School.
Suggestions to the young generations
Students need to be proactive to succeed in this competitive market. As teamwork plays a vital role in the corporate sector, they must practice the same. With this, having excellent communication skills and flexible attitude have become basic requirement in any of the companies. Confidence and attitude are the key factors which defines the character of an individual. Therefore, students must prepare themselves for the challenging world accordingly.
