On March 17 and 18, Amaravati Food Festival was conducted by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh at PWD grounds, Vijayawada with the theme "Express culture through food." KL University was the co-sponsor for the event. A food stall was exhibited by the Department of Hotel Management, KL University where various veg and non-veg delicacies of Andhra cuisine were prepared by the students under the guidance of expert chefs.
KLU food stall was the main crowd puller during the two days. Different types of colorful mocktails were also prepared and sold at a nominal cost to the public. Students and faculty were actively involved in the preparation and service. Students of KL University gave wonderful dance performance on stage. Overall, it was a good show by KL University faculty and students.
