Assam University offers UG, PG, Doctoral and Diploma programme along with the Integrated courses in both of its Silchar & Diphu campus. Students are selected on the basis of their performance in the written test followed by personal interview. List of short listed candidates is displayed on the official website in the month of July.
The Assam University imparting various UG, PG and Research programmes under its sixteen schools. These schools are divided into 38 department. University also offers integrated course in Science, Education and Law streams.
Odd Semester & even semester examinations are conducted in the months December & May respectively. Assam University publishes the news & events related to admission, examination & results on its official website only. Students can check the schedule of current academic year by clicking on the ‘Academic Calendar’ section in the ‘About Us’ tab.
Assam University Semester Result
Students can check their Assam University result for different UG, PG & Doctoral courses by following the below listed steps:
- Visit to the official website of the Assam University.
- In the main menu, given on the top left corner, click on the ‘result’ section.
- After clicking on the result section, you will be redirected to the course wise result listing page.
- Click on your desired link & save the result for future use.
Assam University Online Result
Students, who have already enrolled in the Assam University Silchar or Diphu campus can check their even or odd semester result from the web portal directly.
Students have to visit the online result portal to check the results for TDC (UG), PG & integrated courses by providing their university registration number or student number.
Assam University Revaluation Result

University Special Chance Examination
This year, Assam University has published the notice to conduct special chance examination for UG & PG courses. This chance is applicable to those students, who have taken admission in the academic year 2010-11, 2011-12 & 2012-13 but fails to complete their degree in the given time (for Odd & Even semester papers).
Note: candidates can appear for maximum three papers of all the semesters taken together.
Interested candidates can apply on or before March 10, 2017 to the Controller of Examination office on payment of requisite amount of fee.
