University of Kashmir admission forms are available for BSc. Nursing (4 years) & BSc. Post Basic Nursing (2 years) programmes, for the session 2015-16. Last date for submitting completed applications is December 20, 2015.
With a revised Fee Structure pertaining to the socio-economic status of the people of Kashmir valley, the University also offers Merit and Research Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for BSc. Nursing Courses Admission 2016:
For B.Sc Nursing Degree Courses:
The candidate should have secured 50% aggregate in his/her Class 12 examination from a recognized Board or University. 10+2 subjects must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General English
For B.Sc Post Basic Nursing Course:
- Candidates should have cleared Class 12 examination from a recognized Board/University OR have passed Class 10+1 with science subjectin or before 1986.
- Candidates should also possess a certificate in General English and must be registered as Registered Nurse/ Registered Midwife (RNRM) with the state Nurses Registration Council.
- A Midwifery certificate OR certificate of training in any of the following areas:
O.T. Techniques/ Ophthalmic Nursing/ Leprosy Nursing/ T.B. Nursing Psychiatric Nursing/ Neurological and Neuro-Surgical Nursing/ Community Health Nursing/ Cancer Nursing/ Orthopedic Nursing

Completed applications, along with the bank receipt, should be submitted till December 20, 2015 to the office of Dean College Development Council at the University of Kashmir.
