IIM Bangalore’s Startup Programme Goes Online for the First Time

In the wake of lockdown, NSRCEL, the startup hub incubation centre of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has taken its flagship program Launchpad online from May 4, 2020.
280 applications were made for this two-month long programme and NSRCEL has selected about 31 ventures for the programme. Before going online, this programme was conducted in an offline mode for the last 13 cohorts.
As per the IIMB press release, till now 400 startups have taken part in this pre-incubation programme at the NSRCEL.
In this 14th Edition of the Launchpad, different startups from the field of fintech, ed-tech, SaaS, FMCG, agri-tech, cyber- tech and e-commerce across India have successfully participated.
Launchpad is prepared in such a way that it provides continuous monitoring, one on one mentoring, workshop and webinar sessions via video conferencing. Online Launchpad is also providing the startups with exclusive access to the live webinars which are being held by the industrial specialists. Along with that, it is also helping them to find their first 100 customers, communication gateway, business model canvas to mould them in a proper industrial way to make them pitch-ready.
At the end of the two-month programme, the ventures will be provided with the platform to pitch their startup ideas for incubation, says the NSRCEL Authority.
They also mentioned that the ventures participating in this programme are first-time entrepreneurs, women-founder and student-led startups.
