KIITKIIT Deemed University has made an impressive debut in The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019. The Times Higher Education global university rankings for 2019 - regarded as one of the most prestigious – were published on September 26, 2018.

November 13, 2018: “Don’t fall in the trap of material goddesses of ignorance, illusion, corruption, conspiracy, diplomacy and ignore these completely. Be an icon of yourselves and never imitate others”, said Prof. Ganeshi Lal, Governor of Odisha, while addressing the graduating students of KIIT, deemed to be University, during its 14th Convocation on November 10, 2018.

“Every country of the world is striving for economic supremacy. You are going to face a world divided by the lines of religion, regions, colour, languages, etc. and the biggest challenge before you is to vanquish these divisions”, the Governor of Odisha told the graduating students. As they advance in their chosen careers, they should not forget to smile, be kind and find peace in the laps of nature, was the advice given by him. He said “India is not only a country with her land, rivers, mountains and habitations, but for Indians, she is much beyond these things – she is the divine Goddess. Odisha is the state for humanity at large.  Son of the soil, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS is an example of this. KIIT & KISS are his divine creations. "Gives more Opportunities to hunt for the Knowledge"

KIIT University provides excellent education along with all-round development of an individual. Apart from the regular studies, it gives great importance to Industry-related activities. We get to interact with legend Industrialists very often. The only thing I don't like about college is that it doesn't offer lucrative placement offers. The admission process starts after the declaration of 12th class results by major educational bodies. We are supposed to apply online before the due date and appear for the online entrance exam. Our marks in 12th along with marks in entrance exam decides the rank in the university. Its application is free so it receives so many applications. One can find sol...

"KIIT UNIVERISTY overall review"

My college is outstanding regarding its preference for excellence rather than doing nothing. It is the No.1 private college in India right now and grades, results, and career-wise it's fabulous. The admission process takes around mid-April through an entrance examination called KIITEE. The nearest college from my home by train( although I'm staying in Hostel xD), academic brilliance throughout the college, Professors, and mentors are 24x7 available for helping the students. I searched in collegedunia a year back regarding choosing my stream according to the rank that I have got.

"Know Your College"

1. I choose this college as it was suggested by my mom's brother as he's a director of Analytics in Mediagilitic. I heard that the college rank was increasing before my admission. So I thought it would be a good idea to study at such a reputed University. Also, it has some of the bad aspects which were beyond my expectations like my campus(Campus 1, Koel Campus) was situated outside and far from the main and beautiful campus. Also, my hostel(KP4) is also having bad facilities compared to other Campuses. 2. First thing was filling up the form which starts generally from February-March and ends up in April. You will get a date and place which you have to select for the entrance exam which was...
