Though a very young university, LPU has created a niche for itself especially in the area of engineering. LPU B. Tech programs today attract students from all 29 states of India and 70+ countries. Every year more than 1 lakh 50 thousand students aspire to get admission in B.Tech programs at LPU. The pathway to get into LPU’s B.Tech program is through the University Entrance Exam “LPU NEST” which is an online test conducted in 200+ centers across the country and in 50+ countries abroad. This year in 2019, this test is being conducted into two phases- first in the month of February and second in the month of April.

Around 450+ companies visit every year for campus-placement of students at LPU, where more than 90% are MNCs. Moreover, 80+ companies that recruit from IITs, NITs, and IIMs also recruit from LPU. Over the last 3 years, Cognizant alone has recruited 1900+ students from LPU campus. State of the art Infrastructure
LPU’s infrastructure is unparalleled to any of the universities in India. It is a mini township.
