Sharing her success story, one of LPU alumna, Jaspreet Kaur Sodhi, who is presently the owner of Shopper Drug Mart in Canada and Certified Diabetes Educator, told: “I graduated from LPU and soon got an opportunity to start my career in Canada. However, it wasn’t easy. With the knowledge I gained at my alma mater, I did studentship and internship as a volunteer for almost 1 year. Finally, I got registered and got my first job as a Pharmacist. Within a year, I got promoted as a Pharmacy Manager and came closer to my big dream of running a ‘Shoppers Drug Mart’ store of my own.”
Continuing, she shared: I had a big dream, gathered courage, applied, cleared many competitive interviews, and finally became an ‘Associate Owner’ of Shoppers Drug Mart #1460 in Canada. I want to advise LPU students that “Success is an evolving formula; not driven by fate, chance or luck; and, it is just execution. I am thankful to LPU for tinkering me well.” Some of the other illustrious alumni who shared their success sagas included Gurpreet Singh (Team Lead - Technology at Berkeley Payment Solutions), Harpreet Singh Dhillon (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), Kumar Gaurav (Engineer at IBM), Lokesh Narsineni (Chief Technology Officer at Transparent Pharma Laboratories), Jaspreet Singh (Engineer at CS Soft Solutions) and many other.
